I'm giving this book 3 out of 5 stars, keeping in mind that it was written 20 years ago and that the digital marketing wasn't at its peak in terms of consumer behaviour studies.
However, the book's content could be cut in half, keeping only the last two chapters as they are and it would not lose any informative value. The author has tried to integrate classical philosophy into the concept of brand development and its conceptional thinking. This approach might sound interesting, but there is very little that can be linked between classical philosophy and contemporary branding strategies. Therefore, one might simply read the summaries at the end of each chapter and due to the concepts discussed being so simple, it really does all the necessary job.

Applied Philosophy is one of my favourite subjects. This little book has explained in a funny way how would most notable western thinkers have applied the branding theory if it would have converted into their way of philosophy package. I beleive Author had to do a lot of hardwork to be like a genuine brand evangelist.

surprisingly interesting little book. it was a great quick review of western philosophy. the author is really funny and cleverly links the history of philosophy to branding.
