Entertaining trash. This taps into the CB radio craze and mixes a buddy road comedy in the style of some kind of Burt Reynolds movie, with a men’s adventure action plot. Very disappointed that it didn’t spawn a series with dozens of entries.

This is pulpy fun that was read for the trash event on booktube - Garbaugust.
I enjoyed it, but don't expect much, and imagine those TV buddy programmes like The Fall Guy during the 70s and 80s.

This book was an entertaining and nostalgic peek at the 197O/early 1980’s CB craze. It read very much like an episode of an adult version “BJ and the Bear” (minus Bear) A nice mix of silly CB handles, the lingo, bad jokes, diner stops, mystery, and adventure.
