The Creator Beyond Time & Space is the "Creation vs. Evolution/Bio-genesis" argument. It does a good job arguing for creation, even though this is necessarily a difficult topic. No matter which perspective you take, it requires a decision of faith. Nobody was there at the time of creation, so nobody can say with certainty. I choose to believe the literal, biblical narrative because of my faith in the Author of that narrative.

Lots of eye-opening information here, but the book itself is rather poorly done. I saw Chuck Missler give a lecture in Santa Fe once, and I think he is one of the best Christian speakers in the world; however, this book seems to be a little more than a slightly tweaked, written-out version of one of his presentations, which in turn leans heavily on information gleaned from an earlier book by co-author Mark Eastman. As a result, I would bet that you'd be a lot better off just buying the DVD version of this lecture (probably for a fraction of the book's cost). This book deals with some pretty heady topics, like the problems of evolution in regard to chemistry, as well as some pretty "out there" stuff, like hidden Bible codes and strange numerical patterns found in Scripture. To Missler's credit, he was able to erode much of my skepticism regarding such Biblical "proofs." Unfortunately, Missler has had some hugely embarrassing moments in his career--peanut butter, anyone?--and anyone hostile to his views will no doubt have little trouble writing off whatever he has to say, simply on the basis of his previous blunders. The rest of us, though, should be able to find plenty of food for thought here.
