On her way to a job assignment in Alaska, Whitney Foster gets into a small plane piloted by Colby Davis --- and the unexpected happens. The plane goes down during a storm. Not knowing if or when they're going to be rescued, Whitney and Colby spend Christmas Eve together --- doing more than comforting each other.
The following summer, Whitney shows up in Kodiak Gorge, Alaska, seven months pregnant --- and determined to persuade Colby to relinquish his rights to fatherhood. But Colby yearns to create a family with Whitney and their Santa baby-to-be. Can he get her to fall in love with Alaska ... and with him?
Will they spend all their Christmases together from now on?
After college, Laura Marie Altom did a brief stint as an interior designer before becoming a stay-at- home mom to boy/girl twins. Always an avid romance reader, when she found herself replotting the afternoon soaps, she knew it was time to try her hand at writing.
This story reminds me of one I read quite some time ago. Same airplane failure. Not quite the same but close. It was a decent quick romance read. Set in the state of Alaska, with airplane pilot Colby Davis and his passenger Whitney Foster. Bad weather causes the plane to go down. As they both thought it could be their last night alive they got together. A baby was the result of that night, and they didn't die. So you'll have to read the story to find out the rest of the story.
