Tapi jadi novelis ternama seperti Stephen King tidak gampang. Perlu kemauan dan disiplin yang kuat untuk menciptakan karya-karya bermutu dengan produktivitas tinggi. Perlu mental baja untuk menghadapi periode penolakan dari penerbit buku di awal karirnya.

Bagi mereka yang mengira semua novelis punya banyak waktu luang dan santai, pasti belum tahu cara kerja Stephen King, seperti yang dikisahkan dalam buku ini.
