This collection takes a Philly sports fan down memory lane, with winding twists, exciting highs and deep depressing lows. Ray was there, chronicling the events and serving as voice of reason. I loved the Opinions section, as he steps back from passive observer and writes heartfelt commentary on the issues of the day. His style of journalism is a lost art… there will never be another Ray Didinger.

i have read several of these sports news article compilation books, and this one is easily the best. i have always enjoyed reading (or listening to) ray didinger. he believes that it is possible to be intelligent and a sports fan... a belief that not all share. better yet, his uses this philosophy to talk about philly sports in particular(while this book does cover other national stories). it's a great read for any sports fan who proudly considers themselves a non-meat head. as an added bonus my mom got it autographed for me as a christmas gift. nice work, mom!
