If anyone knows Megan Hart, I hope they will ask her to please put this book out in ebook format so more readers can enjoy it. It's such a good story.....I just love it and the cost of the paperback is $425.00 on Amazon....which is stupid crazy nutzoid because nobody can buy it at that price and it's just to good a story to let die away!!! Lonesome Bride
Cait (a mail order bride) arrives at the train station to meet her new husband Jed Peters. Cait is surprised and delighted when she meets the handsome Mr Peters. She assumed he'd be a shriveled up old man.

Jed Peters's son is sent to collect said bride...and thinking she will be an old ugly spinster is taken aback when he sees Cait....and simply introduces himself as Jed Peters....(leaving off the Jr)

The attraction between them is pretty immediate...They set off on a fairly long journey to the 'ranch' but are hampered by weather, etc. and forced to take shelter....where they get to know each other very very well....hehehe.

But when the time comes that they reach the ranch....what will happen when Jed has to tell her the truth about himself, etc?

This is a very hot book...Erotic maybe?....but one I really liked. It was one of the 1st books I read by Megan and clearly shows her talent for writing good love scenes and heart wrenching stories.

It was a good historical read not the best since I have read Megan Hart historical romances before. What I found annoying about this book was the chracteres stubborness to declare their love for each other and then once the heroine found the solution instead of jumping and going to the hero . She was being idle doing nothing but resting and sewing for fuck sake. Excuse my language but that act in otself never suited the heroine triat wise. Because
she never backed away and would never be a idle person so why now argh.

She just ended up getting herself in more bother- it was a quick okey read . Not that memorable but not shit either.

My view of Caitlen & Jed.

I liked the heroine but I despised the hero so a three star read.
The novel concentrates on a mail order bride who is being transported by the hero to his house. Since the start, we know that hero is not the one she is to be wed but the heroine doesn't know that miniscule detail(which is understandable) but why the hero doesn't tell the truth is just plain confusing. The hero Jedson has the same name as his father Jed and throughout his journey, he is making advances on his step-mother who think Jedson is her husband. He insults her throughout the journey which made me furious. Then, when both of them come to know of the truth, well...you'd have to read the novel for that.

I'm so glad I gave this story a chance. I bought my copy from 2nd hand bookstore and it was priced just fine. It was typically predictable, no jaw dropping moments and the sexy scenes are fine but the writing is great. I wasn't bored the whole reading experience.

**for those who love western cowboy historical romance, this is recommended.

I have a thing for handsome, charming, gentlemen with reservations. It makes me want to give myself up completely, freely, entirely. Hehe sounds so unladylike but that's my secret wish :)
Read this book if you love some innocent, sweet sweet romance !!! Love it <3
