Not Hart's best work.To be honest I found convicted below the average in every way that's possible for a book.I wouldn't recommend to anyone to read it.

This book could have been great, but the plot fell short. I could've ended the book before it even started, it was completely unrealistic that Deacon went to prison in the first place... It was painfully obvious who the real culprit was from about halfway through the book, if not before then, and there was also no real relationship building between the main characters, so all in all I'm disappointed.

I guess I was expecting too much because the blurb sounded intriguing enough: an ex-prisoner meeting his lady love who incidentally chucked him into jail in the first place. The whole premise of their reunion is brushed aside as the bizarre thriller involving missing items and a bungled burglary and assault takes place; it just seems too ridiculous that the hero was a crook in the first place.

First, awful cover! I know this was written over 10 years ago, but still awful. The story was…blah and predictable. Sorry Ms. Hart!--Please know that Broken received one of my rare 5 star ratings, so no hard feelings!
