Matt James Malpass was born and raised on a housing estate North West London, England. Aged 16, he entered Willesden Technical College, to learn his trade as a housepainter. Shortly after, Matt travelled extensively for many years. In a rundown car, August 2002, long before Brexit, he crossed the Channel to begin a new life on the Bassin d’Arcachon, south-west France. Today, he manages his own painting business and enjoys his pastime, writing imaginative tales. An outlook he still holds close is his old school motto: “Virtus non Stemma” In plain English. “Worth not Birth”
