Apparently, the description of this book on the library's website was not very detailed...Or I wasn't paying attention (shocking!). I didn't realize I was getting a devotional inspired by Henri Nouwen and not one written by Henri Nouwen until I started reading. I was disappointed at first, but then I realized that this guy is a pretty good writer. He had some inspiring devotional thoughts. Happy little accident, I guess.

To begin, I mistook this book for one written by Henri Nouwen. After the Preface and Intro, I started looking for the start of the book! Lo and behold, it's about themes related to Nouwen's writing. Although thought-provoking in part, there's not a consistent thread.
