I really liked this book, couldn't put it down. It has it all: adventure, suspense, mystery, romance, and mythology, in one of my favorite settings - the Amazon jungle. Two men and one woman take off into the jungle in search of oil, and more mysterious things. Some among them are protectors, others mean to harm, and not everything is as it seems. I found myself caring about the fate of all the characters of this book, and the ending was bittersweet. Overall it was an engrossing story and I enjoyed reading the book.

Been a while since I read this so details are sketchy but I remember finding this book very lightweight and unconvincing. I found the characters very 2-dimensional and disliked how they started behaving out of character toward the end. Though you could argue that trekking through the jungle changes people...
For me, it felt like a book written to fulfil a writer's contract.

Legend Makers is supposed to be a fast paced action thriller, which looks into the life of three people as they search for oil in the jungles of Ecuador. Two men and one a woman that makes for an unusual love triangle.

I wasn't very impressed with the book. The characters seemed flat. It was hard to identify with them. The writing was 'jumpy'-not connected at times.

Hate that the text can't focus on 1st person. It's jumpy.

Enjoyable read in the same line as Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile both by the same author.

It wasn't too bad. The writing seemed disjointed sometimes, like it needed another edit, but the story was pretty good. Lots of adventure. I didn't like the love triangle. It wasn't very well developed.
