This is the 3rd book in a series starting with Butterfly Summers then onto Autumn Skies. It was a good book except for a few things that drove me to distraction at times.

This story moves on to Edwin Lett, Helen Goodrich and Hugh Lett. Edwin buys the major shares from his Aunt and takes over the running of the restaurant and he falls in love with Helen and she with him and they marry and have 2 children. Edwin knows they are cousins because Will (Mary’s father) has told him his story. Mary and Hugh have no idea of the secret that has been kept for many years.

What frustrated me was that Edwin felt that he had to keep helping Hugh every time he asked because of a family obligation. I could understand back in Butterfly Summers when Henry was forever helping Geoffrey because they were brothers – but cousins? I was also very disappointed in Helen's reaction to finding out the secret and how she would not forgive Will. It seemed to go against her nature.

Except for those frustrations it was an enjoyable read
