I'm reading this book for a college class, and I have to honestly say, it is one of the most comprehensive and positive books I have read. It is a good book as a first step towards leadership development:).

Unnecessarily verbose, but with some good bits here and there. Nothing groundbreaking. Wouldn’t recommend

This book was what got me started on a path in Student Affairs. I loved learning about the leadership identity model and I could see how I changed in every activity I became a part of. However, the most rewarding part was seeing this play out in my students. I loved watching them grow, develop, and learn about themselves. I had a chance to take a picture with Dr. Komives at a conference and was elated! She is incredibly kind and intelligent. I love reading about her latest works.

Read this one for work, for a class I was co-teaching, but it still counts! It was a little dense for some of our students I think, but the concepts were solid and stories from actual college students were helpful, and overall I think it is a good text to help college students expand their definition of leadership, and find ways to employ leadership lessons and skills in their daily liv
