Horror brings a happy ending
When Chelsea's boss at the UN canceled her vacation and sent her, a translator, on a fact-finding mission in a hostile country, she thought it would be an in-and-out assignment. How wrong she was. After being caught and tortured for months she finally makes it back to Baker Street in London and who should be the one to watch over and take care of her? Master Adam, head of security. It's gripping, intense, chemistry-filled, and romantic. It's also the segue to a brand-new adventure.

The story is a fast-paced, action-packed adventure—including danger and suspense. Also, this story will kick off another new series by Ms. Delta James, Mercenary Masters: Club Southside which takes place in Chicago.
The story starts in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, with Chelsea Mason there doing an investigation for the UN. She will be captured and held prisoner but not rescued by the USA. Instead, she is rescued by JJ and taken to Baker Street in London. There she will meet up with Master Adam Wheldon, who decides to dictate to Chelsea what she may and may not do. What a surprise to her when he comes into her room and things heat up.
The story will move quickly with years going by to the present day, where Chelsea and Adam are guests at Red Hills Resort in Colorado. For Adam, it is a working trip, but it will also be a celebration of their tenth anniversary. As with all of Delta’s books, there is plenty of erotic chemistry, passion, and explicit scenes.
Be sure to continue the Mercenary Masters: Club Southside with the first book, The Scoundrel—releasing February 17, 2023, featuring Kingston and Samantha.

Ice Dog: Mercenary Masters Romance
I love Delta James and the Mercenary Masters was the first series read by her. I do not know how I missed this book but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could not imagine coming back that easily from a hostile situation no matter now much support from a loving a dominant partner I had. And no matter what she says there's no way you could theme down after a experience like that. Other than that this book wad amazing.

This was good/great. I am really not a fan of the BSDM or is it BDSM? well anyway I am really not a fan of that lifestyle unless it is private and this was more of my speed. I actually felt comfortable and enjoyed it. I am a fan of Delta James and enjoy her books. Chelsea had Adam to see her through possibly the worst time of her life. The gentle giant was so sweet but firm. Good/great read.

I loved this sweet and hot story. Chelsea is a strong sweet lady who loves dominant Adam. I enjoyed their relationship. This is a fast paced and full story that ends one series and starts a spin-off series of the men of Cerberus. I enjoyed reading this well done story from a talented author. I enjoyed how this story evolved and I recommend it. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

This is a novella, so it goes pretty fast. As with all of Delta's stories it was well written , with plenty of action, suspense and of course lots of steam to the BDSM romance.
Both Adam and Chelsea are strong, independent people. I loved the chemistry between them.
I also liked the ending.
I would recommend al of this authors books.

Very good story
I enjoyed the characters and the story lines of this book I would definitely recommend that it to be read. Also all of the other books this author has written, they are all excellent readings.

How wonderful to see Adam get his own Happy Ever After. Chelsea is perfect for him. The ending is just what keeps me coming back for more!
