Alistair, Marquis of Lingard, is not likely to turn down a wager. After all, the Kirkdales are known for wagering, even his mother the Duchess of Kirkdale. So, when his friends bet that he cant' spend a month in the back throes of Devonshire as a highwayman, Alistair has no choice but to take the bet.
In this light hearted romp, Helen Ashfield gives her readers a fun read and a fulfilling story.
