I was given this as a gift when I started learning a couple years ago and it sat on the shelf until recently. Good reference for newbies in the front half of the book, though there's only 2 patterns that I could see myself making realistically as a lot of it looks simply outdated as far as style goes. Nothing wrong with retro of course! Just not for me, outside of one sweater and the throw pillow.

Some basic patterns that can be adapted and spiced up, plus a couple of hats I would actually like to make -- and I hate hats!
