A Romantic Christmassy story that will warm your heart with the spirit of Christmas. Lenora Worth this is one of your best books as far as this reader is concerned. It would make a great Hallmark Christmas movie. This book was written in the year 2000 but if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it. If you have already read it years ago than you might want to reread it again this year. So grab a cup of tea or hot chocolate and snuggle up with One Golden Christmas.

I liked this book very much. Lenora Worth is another author whose works I have enjoyed, and I am rarely disappointed in the books she writes. This is a Christmas story of redemption and self-forgiveness. It is the story that portrays the warmth of a close family and the triumph of sacrificial love. Nate and Lea's story is a fun although sometimes sad, read.

Can always count on Lenora Worth for a warm and loving Christmas story. She connects with her readers' feelings on a such a basic level, and gives a great sense of hope.

I enjoy reading Christmas stories in December. This is one of the better ones I have read. I read love inspired books between “heavier” books as I enjoy the “light and more fluffy” break. I found this one to be less light and fluffy, with a great storyline and likeable characters.

Reviewing this for what it is. Books like this are to books what Hallmark is to movies—cliche and predictable feel-good stories that aren’t trying to be anything else. I rate these stories based on 36 factors. Sometimes my favorites rate lower than my least favorites and vise versa. I do my best to be well-balanced in honesty of rating while allowing for bias of ranking.

Out of 9 love-inspired books I’ve ranked and rated so far, this is top of the list for both ratings and rankings. It’s such a cute story. I love every character and will definitely be rereading it at some point!

This was a good Christmas story about a widower who could not let go of his past and a hometown girl come home.

Nate Welby is a single father who wants to give his children everything they deserve. The one thing he cannot provide, however, is a mother. Enter Leandra Flanagan … single, talented, pretty and fun. She is in charge of the annual Christmas production and when the committed tells her to hire Nate to construct the set, she falls madly in love with his children. Will he have the same effect on her – and vice versa?
I don’t read a lot of traditional “romance” novels, but every now and then, I pick up one that strikes me as interesting. In this case, I’m glad I took the plunge. This is a truly enjoyable read and a great story for a cold winter day.

Engaging. A lot of Christian romance is nothing more than fluff (and I mean that in the best way possible, everyone needs a little fluff once in a while), but this book was not that way at all. Real characters, real issues, believable situations. A+

I loved all the characters in this book! The storyline was realistic, honest and never became whiny! True honest portrayals of people dealing with true emotions!
