This book is full of many great ideas and offers insight on the behaviors of children in the fourth grade. I will implement some of the ideas including morning and end of day meetings. I'm going to do most of the "traditional" teaching in a circle group. When the students are actually working, it will be done primarily at their desks. These were ideas I was already planning on using, but this book has made me more confident to go on with my plan. It's an easy read and I would recommend it to any new fourth grade teacher.
Wow! This is the best teacher book I’ve read. It’s such an easy, quick read with great tips that I’m so excited to implement. Thanks for the book rec, Chan!
