This is for the manga series.
Ugh yet again, James Patterson disappoints me. This manga isn't even an ending. There is no conclusion to the story, and I don't want to read the novels.
The positive:
The art is awesome, it's well edited and coherent as a plot line.
The negative:
God-mode Main character that has ALL of the super powers without decent explanation. The sci-fi aspects of his.. astral projection/electron manipulation friends? Also not explained well. The license wasn't sold for the whole series, so this is a non-ending. I found myself, by this volume, more interested in Merlin. Because Daniel treats the death of his imaginary friends, as real. Can he not just resummon them?
UGH. This had such potential, like Maximum Ride (I bring this up because that is another Patterson series that thoroughly disappoints). But, it falls flat on execution, plot, characters, etc.

This book is really good but you need to read the first one to know about it in this one the main person has unlocked a power and now going after number 3.

I love it! But, when I went to the bookstore, they had #3 only, so I have to read #1 and #2. Great book

Almost a perfect 10/10. It's very interesting that Daniel's friends are living their own lives now, and I would love to learn more about them. Also, Daniel can now turn back time! I know that Daniel is kind of a Mary Sue character, but reading these comic book versions has been a lot of fun. It's really cool seeing all these monsters in a visual format.
This one was interesting and had a pretty cool premise around it - time traveling.
AND HE SEES KING ARTHUR??? AND MERLIN???
I had no idea that was going to happen at all.
The only thing I don't like about it was how the final fight with Beta didn't turn out to be very long. It was just "I'm gonna get bigger so you are scared of me!" and then "I'M BEING LAUNCHED INTO THE FUCKING SUN-" so...

I recommend this book because it's different from the other volumes in terms of how Daniel fights the aliens. In this volume, Daniel uses time stopping abilities and warping through time itself to defeat number 3. Daniel's father even told him he could travel through time in the quote, "It's always been said that a powerful enough alien hunter can not only find these holes... but can actually travel between them." (Patterson Pg. 93) This shows how Daniel gained a new ability to fight aliens even in different time lines.

The Daniel X books really don't have the most fleshed out characters, but the action with Daniel's super overpowered abilities just make this always a blast. And now in manga form? Like, honestly this is amazing. It's really a shame that the manga series didn't continue because I really liked the color that the manga provided. Also, it's just cool seeing an American series getting drawn in a Japanese style. It's really a shame since the next book was Japan-centric...

Still an interesting story. Some pretty gross illustrations, some of these aliens are nasty!! The ending was a bit anticlimactic but still a pretty cool use of historical figures.

Only two stars because this is the last volume in the series and #1 wasn't defeated. It was just mentioned in passing. Still, no final victory. I'm kind of bummed because I probably won't read the original series by James Patterson: I already know what happened in the first three volumes and yeah... I would read the manga version of it but not the original novel.

So... Where were we? Daniel is tracking down #3 on his list. This alien is a sort inextinguishable fire that's collecting minions everywhere. He's planned a couple of attacks in Great Britain and Daniel went there to check on things. The result is that... he time-travels back to . M. is a great character, however: he's funny and he works as a sort of comic relief for the volume. I adore him

A bit on the confusing side, especially because Daniel ... I mean, I like the idea of these friends who are always with Daniel and help him in every way. At the same time, I fear I still haven't understood them completely yet.

The art was as good as usual. No complaints there.

Bah, as a series finale I didn't like it that much. My rating would have been higher if there had been a volume #4.

The book, "Daniel X vol.3" talks about how Daniel travels to London to defeat the fire demon number 3. He learns from one of his fellow minions that he lived on the Earth for thousands of year and doesn't have a weakness yet. With the training from his dad, Daniel learns how to control which he was the only one in his family to do that. He time travel to the medieval times where he met Merlin and King Arthur. He learns that Merlin and his former master created a machine to defeat number 3. He finds out that it was Stonehenge. He lured number 3 to become super big and with the power of the sun, destroyed number 3.

I chose this book because this book is the third of its series. This book has a interested hook on if he will win or lose against number 3.

I read this book because it had tons of science fiction which I barely read but this book is awesome to read. It had lots of actions and adventure in the life of an alien hunter.

I would recommend this book to those who had read vol.1 and vol.2. Also if you're a fan of Daniel X and want to try James Patterson's manga version.

Daniel X,Vol 3 by James Patterson
This book is about a fifteen-year old boy hunting down the world's most deadliest aliens after his parents were killed by an alien from that list.In this book,he hunts down the third most deadliest alien with the power of fire who had lived for thousands of years. Can he defeat this alien before he's all burnt up?

I chose this book because it was the third and possibly the final book of the series up to this date. Since I liked the other two books of the series,I chose this book to read.

I read this book because it was the third and possibly the final book of the series and it was an amazing book to read. This manga book from James Patterson also has a chapter book to go along with this series.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the "Daniel X" series and/or read the first and second book of the series. Also,to anyone interested in any alien or adventure intergalactic themed-genre as well as it from James Patterson.

*CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS*I enjoyed this book a lot. It definitely was better than the second in my opinion. It actually got me thinking......not about anything particular, but for some reason I keep replaying the ending in my head, when the Stonehenge(is that what it's called?) sent number 3 to the sun and burned. I wish it would have explained more of what happened after though, especially for the last book. Don't get me wrong though the series is FANTASTIC, but I think the ending could have been explained more. Did he ever get revenge on the Prayer for killing his parents? Does he go back to his life alien hunting or does he try to be normal? There are lots more questions. Maybe there is another book, I'll definitely have to check that out.

For any starting this series definitely read the prior two volumes or you won't understand how Daniel has gained the power of his creative abilities. Overall it was interesting to see Daniel now have to step out of his comfort zone, and face an alien force that seems indestructible and preys on his past fears. He still needs some growing experience as a hunter, but he has progressed in his powers. Can't wait to see how he takes on the top of the wanted alien list.

Time is working against Daniel and his friends as they face an ancient being of unending blaze - and between the pain of old scars and a leap into the times of Arthurian legend, they'll have to keep a grip on reality to stay any step ahead of their strangest foe yet! Ledwidge & Kye bring their adaptation of Daniel X to a pleasant end, holding fast to their pleasing style and charming sense of humour yet again. How can Daniel defeat an alien of such calamitous proportions!?
