Miracle on 49th Street Book Review
Having that unknown parent can be difficult many times and leave a person wondering who and where, just like Molly does in Miracle on 49th Street. Molly is a twelve year old girl who is living with her mother’s best friend Barbara and her family because her mother died of cancer. Barbara one day told Molly that she had a father out there but nothing more than that. This made Molly very curious about her unknown father and decided to go make a plan to find her father. Molly has a best friend named Sam that does everything with her and wants to help her find her father. They figure out that her father is Josh Cameron who is an NBA basketball player for the Celtics and decide to go to one of the practices and talk to him after practice. They confront Josh after his practice and tell him who Molly’s mom was and he remembered her but he did not believe her that he was Molly’s father. This book gives a great example of how people can be all about themselves but life changes that many times which makes people realize there is more to life than just themselves. The theme of this book is that the world is not that big and people can change your life for the better. I Thought Miracle on 49th Street was a good book, and I think that this book would be liked by someone who enjoys reading about sports but also a book that has a mystery twist in it.

I thought about this book is that it is really good book because it is really interesting about the kid. He is a really good baseball player and doesn't take stuff for granted. I also like this book because this shows you that even at a young age that you can a accomplish anything if you believe in it. And I think the lesson in this book is telling you that the more you work then mess around the more successful that you will become in life and yes maybe you will lose some friends but that doesn't matter sometimes what matters is that you do well in life. It really does give you something to learn and I think this would be a perfect book for you if you are going through a tuff time in sports.

I give this book a 4 star because of how good this book is I recommend this book to people who like sports books and just that have fun reading this book like it did. Please don't take stuff for granted because in this book he doesn't and that could save you one day.
