If you are over 8 you should probably read this cute story about love and friendship, ingenuity and overcoming the odds. Really. If you haven't read it, you probably should/ then watch the movie too.
Charlotte's web is a great book for people who like animals. My favorite character was Charlotte because she is very kind. What surprised me is that Charlotte dies at the end. I would not change the ending because it was very interesting.

This is a very cute story about a little pig. Fern arable is the pig’s owner. The pigs name is Wilbur. Wilbur unfortunately had to go to ferns uncles house. Wilbur loved fern but new that a change would be good. When living at ferns uncle, Wilbur made a friend named charlotte and she is a spider. They had a great relationship. Charlotte saved Wilbur’s life by making webs that had words in them but eventually charlotte died because of making all the webs. Wilbur was sad but he knew that spiders don’t last very long. Wilbur and Charlotte had a special relationship that everyone should have. Even though they were very different, they were always there for one another. I loved this book so much because when I was a little girl I use to take pigs to the fair. I enjoyed it because I could easily relate to this story and I think that children who live on farms would also love this story because they can easy visualize and understand what’s going on. This story has a great message and I think that children should read it.

They become friends and she saves him from being slaughtered. This book teaches the lesson of true friendship. I rated this book 5 stars because I read it so many times when I was growing up. It was one of the first chapter books that I read. It also teaches a very good lesson for young children. The main characters were all farm animals and they all human characteristics and personalities. It makes the story fun, yet we can all still relate. The drawings in the book are not colorful, the copy I read was in black and white. And the drawings are very detailed. I think this book is appealing to young readers because they can connect to the characters and can learn an important lesson from this story.
Even though i read this book so long ago, i still remember how much i loved it. I loved the plot conflict and resolution of this book. And plus,... I LOVE EVERYTHING TO DO WITH FARM ANIMALS!! So i guess that was a plus.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone young or old. This was one of my favorite books in elementary school. Our teacher used to read this aloud to the class.
