Operation Pseudo Miranda: A Veteran of the CIA Drug Wars Tells All

Rate this book
Former CIA operative Bucchi describes his experiences fighting the drug war in the 1980s in Colombia. The focus is on "Operation Pseudo Miranda" under which the CIA made a deal with Pablo Escobar, Fabio Ochoa, Manuel Noriega, and other high-level cocaine traffickers. Bucchi alleges that the CIA helped these "drug lords" to get drugs past the radar at the borders and destroyed their competitors in exchange for half of the cocaine being imported into the US. The volume does not contain an index or bibliographical references. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
