Waduh, nggak nyangka Level bakal menerbitkan Shonan Junai Gumi, langsung edisi premium lagi (jadi bertanya-tanya kenapa GTO juga nggak langsung edisi premium, kan bisa cepat tamat yo).

Jilid pertama ini ceritanya masih norak-norak bergembira tentang usaha pasangan berandalan Onibaku waktu masih unyu untuk mendapatkan cewek demi melepaskan keperjakaan. Langkah-langkah yang mereka tempuh demi menggaet cewek kadang menjurus kriminal deh, untungnya mereka selalu sial (atau memilih sial?). Komik ini mungkin bermaksud memberikan gambaran dengan lebainya teori tentang laki-laki yang selalu memikirkan seks setiap dua puluh menit sekali (rentang waktu ini berbeda-beda tergantung penulis teorinya ^.^).

Tapi buat yang menyukai tema berandalan, endure sajalah, toh kisah norak mereka masih tetap diselang-selingi perkelahian yang menjamin eksistensi Onibaku di dunia persilatan.

Jadi seperti apa masa SMA Onizuka? Well, bersama Ryuji ia terkenal dengan julukan Oni Baku, yang ditakuti anak-anak berandalan lainnya. Justru karena itu mereka susah dapat pacar.

Oleh karena itu, mereka keluar dari sekolah khusus putra yang terkenal sekolah anak berandalan, masuk sekolah campuran dengan penampilan anak baik-baik dan manis (Onizuka pakai kacamata!), demi satu tujuan: melepaskan keperjakaan (kayaknya ini tema utama serial ini deh...*grin*)

Sebenarnya kalo dilihat-lihat tampang mereka sih keren, jago berantem lagi, cuma nasib saja yang tidak beruntung... khususnya Onizuka, yang di GTO bahkan GTO Shonan 14 Days masih tetap virgin... T.T

sangat tidak disarankan untuk membacanya di dekat anak kecil ataupun di dalam diangkot, malu ditanggung sendiri. gambarnya kebanyakan gambar kayak suneo. gue ga keberatan kalo si onizuka yg begitu, tapi sedih ngeliat ryuji juga begitu kelakuannya. ngerusak imej cool-nya aja. inti cerita volume ini, si onibaku sama bakudan dari kyokuto nih pengen ngelepas keperjakaannya. mereka bahkan sampe pindah ke sekolah co-ed. kocak karena tingkah mereka yang segitunya nyari cewek sama kesialan yang terus ngikutin mereka. belum lagi suka horny ga liat-liat tempat. hadeeuh...

Of course when I read this I compared it to GTO; I couldn't help it. You shouldn't do that. >.>; I mean this was written so much earlier than GTO. Fujisawa's art style is much more dated (not at the time, obviously) in this series than in GTO. I would really like to continue this series as I have faith in Fujisawa. :3 Besides, first volumes are always kind of rough.

First of all, this is NOT a comic book for children. But I found reading this amusing though. Especially to see how both Ryuji and Eikichi tried very hard to lose their virginity. But luck was never on their side. So no matter what they did, until the end of this first volume, they're still two miserable virgins. I guess I will buy the second volume when it comes out.

This manga is seriously bad when compared to GTO. Completely forgettable and uninventive. Sure, it's still readable if one has nothing better to read. But I almost can't believe it was done by the author of GTO.
