When a video reveals to the world that vampires live among us, it’s up to “young” vamp Gregori Holstein, VP of Marketing, to persuade the U.S. government to declare the video a hoax. But first the president wants a favor, one that requires Gregori to spend forty-eight hours in very close contact with the First Daughter.
Abby Tucker would rather spend her nights in a lab than attend her father’s state dinners. She’s dedicated her life to finding a cure that will save her dying mother and needs only two more ingredients. To find them, she’ll have to venture into the most dangerous region of the world—with a vampire. Her Armani-clad escort may be Undead, but he still makes her heart race. And the greatest danger won’t be the predatory hordes lying in wait for them; it will be her undying desire for the Sexiest Vampire Alive.
Kerrelyn Sparks apparently has issues with reality. After writing more than a dozen books about vampires, she has now completely gone off the deep end and wound up on another planet. But how thrilling that she can share this magical new world with her readers! Although she is best known (so far) for the Love at Stake series, which has hit as high as number 5 on the New York Times list and 22 on the USA Today list, she hopes her readers will love The Embraced as much as they did her merry band of vamps and shifters. To learn more about her paranormal, historical, and upcoming out-of-this-world fantasy romances, please visit Kerrelyn on Facebook, Twitter, or her website at www.kerrelynsparks.com.
Kerrelyn loves hearing from readers, even those who howl at the moon. Letters may be sent to P.O. Box 5512, Katy, TX 77491-5512. If you would like bookmarks and signed bookplates, please mail a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope to her P.O. Box, and she will send those items to you.
Sexiest Vampire Alive by Kerrelyn Sparks Book 11 of the Love at Stake series. Paranormal vampire romance. Can be read as a stand-alone however there is an overall arc storyline that progresses through the books. Vampires exist and the world now knows it thanks to a video of Gregori. The White House President arranges for his daughter to work with the vampire and she can’t resist the hottie.
Amusing Insta love story as the whole series is. The 15 minute mind wiping goes awry in this story and it’s funny the gymnastics that follow as the heroine questions pieces from her missing time. Passion, danger and a smidge of politics.
Gregori was such a fun and loving man, why did Sparks have to pair him up with stupid and boring Abigail? I can't even begin to say how much I wanted to slap Abigail's face throughout the whole book (I refuse to call her Abby because I REALLY DISLIKE HER).
Abigail was the eldest daughter of America's president. Basically, she had hidden from media and cameras all her life because she was in her worm hole trying to find a cure for her poor diseased mother. It was noble and all until her father decided to use vampires to rob plants off China so that Abigail could research on them, and hopefully discover a cure for their beloved.
First off, she fainted, FAINTED when she saw Greg levitate. Was that really necessary since she herself said she was never the kind to feel weak and faint? Now let's all roll our eyes. She was consistently doubtful and shocked of the vampire world despite the many magic tricks Greg had shown her (which didn't involve a bed or a ceiling). Learn to get used to things, will you? One minute she was gushing over how hot and attractive he was (yes I know and he deserved so much better), the next she was "omg, we are impossible to be together!" AND THE NEXT she was seeing how nice Greg's vampire families were and just decided she wanted to be a part of them like wtf? Where did that thought surface from when she was just saying impossible, impossible, IMPOSSIBIRU YOU MOFO.
She must have gone stale hiding in her lab 'cos there wasn't really anything interesting about her, she was just so terribly plain and normal. Good but unfortunate thing that Greg was so sweet and funny, Abigail didn't have to just simply rot away like that. She even called Gregori, GORI as a pet name. Omg, how ridiculous was that?? I laughed because it just sounded so downright stupid. Poor Greg ):
Abigail valued her freedom which she didn't have a lot of because she was always on the watch by Secret Service Agents. I pity those agents, it must have been such a boring job. Watching paint dry would have been so much better. She got kind of cranky whenever Greg tried his best to keep her safe but such an ungrateful bitch, "You want to take away the only little fun I can have? I'm sick of being told to do this, not to do that" SUCK IT UP YOU BITCH, you are the president's daughter and on a trip to find plants for your mom, not on an excursion trip to see rainbows and unicorns! She insisted on staying with the team when danger was already so close. Human, stop being the arrogant thing you are and just listen to the supernaturals when you are useless and quit being such a whiny little prick! I wished Howard could just, y'know, use his bear claws on her and rip her into sheets. Just stay down, you crazy bitch.
And at the end of the story, there she went being the annoying thing she was again. She claimed she was totally head over heels in love with him but once she knew vampires' blood could heal, she went all psycho on Greg that if he didn't give her a sample of his blood, it meant he didn't trust her enough! All wailing and screaming, "you don't trust me!!!! I'm breaking up with you!!!" Blah blah blah. I wanna send her personally to the gates of HELL. She expected Greg to help since she was trying all her life saving her mother, (what a failure) and that Greg didn't understand her pain like just stfu, will ya? Why can't you understand Greg's position instead!
POOR GREGORI, OH MAN. I weep that you are stuck with her for the rest of your undead years. Sob.
How much did I like Sexiest Vampire Alive??? well here is my facebook status from this morning..."So around 8:00 pm last night I made a pot of coffee and proceeded to drink the whole pot because I wanted to finish reading Sexiest Vampire Alive...I finished it around 3:30 am and loved it!!! But this morning, I'm still jittery as hell ;-"
Not a huge fan of this one. There honestly wasn't a whole lot going on.. It was just kinda meh, boring.
I never really liked Gregori. He had his funny moments but other than that he just didn't do anything for me. When I read the blurb and saw that he was going to be hooking up with the presidents daughter, I just wasn't excited about it. I think thats why it took me months to finally get to this one.
Abby was the presidents daughter and she was boring. And to be honest kind of a bitch. Well there was really just one time she was a bitch. She finds out that Gregori has healing blood and she gets super mad that he won't give it to her. Even though he was a totally legitimate excuse. It was the 2nd day they knew each other. Of course he didn't fully trust her!!! Especially she says that she will tell her father to cancel the alliance if he didn't give it to her.. Uhh... yeah I would never talk to her again after that. So bitchy.
The whole book is a basically about Abby wanting to save her mother. Totally understandable. But I really don't want to read about her trip to china to get plants.. Im not into science so I was bored. Even though that's where the only action in the whole book happens but I just wasn't feeling this one.
I liked it but I didn't love it. It was great to finally read Gregori's HEA, he really deserved it. I loved to see how he went from a fledgling to a real vamp-man, LOL. I'm not sure how to explain why I didn't enjoy this one so much, Mostly because the heroine was the president's daughter and the whole thing wasn't taken seriously. I mean, if the president is going to have one of the world's most important meetings with all his staff about something supposed to be top secret, I'm sure he would not allowed his 2 daughters to be on it. Specially if one of them is like Paris Hilton. I was so pissed at the beginning of the story when things like this constantly happened, I just never saw them as funny, mostly annoying. But then I will admit it got a bit better when the hero and heroine got together. They did have great chemistry and I really enjoyed reading about those two. The rest of the story was a bit lame.
I just don't know why I keep reading this series anymore, I guess because I already started it.
I really enjoy this series and this one was definitely better than #10. There are 'Laugh Out Loud' situations, interesting and tense moments that make you gasp, and delightful 'Love at First Sight' romance. We learn more about Gregori that really buts his character in perspective. Also, there is a new enemy that looks more forbidding than Casimer was. Both Gregori and Abigail are well defined. You find yourself cheering them both on. There are 'Love' scenes in this book that qualify it as 'Adult' romance, but they are not lewd. A funny and satisfying read.
After reading this the second time I realized how very little I like Abby and her bitchy attitude the entire book. The way she kept trying to force Gregori to give her what she wanted regardless of the costs to him and his friends really put me off. Not sure what Greg thought was so amazing about her. I did enjoy that Howard was in this book a little more than he had been in others.
A brillaint book. I would have given this book 5 stars if not for the slow start. I was really worried when I started skimming pages at the beginning because I wanted this book to be incredible. I am happy to say that about 20% in it starts to pick up the pace. I was very happy with it in the end.
Gregori is one of the best hero's in this series. He's drop dead gorgeous for one. But he really wears his heart on his sleeve, even though he is terrified of the consequences, he just blurts out how he feels about Abby and how much he loves her. It was adorable. But I know what you're thinking He sounds like a complete whimp. LOLBut I promise you he isn't. He's so whitty, flirtacious and when he feels like it he can turn up the heat to supernova in a heartbeat. He was so hot, he gave me goosebumps ;)
Abby was an interesting heroine. I'm not too sure what to say really. She's very determined (to save her mothers life) and brave. She has a great sense of humour that will easily keep up with Gregori. But I loved this book because of Gregori, not Abby. I am afraid that she is a little forgetable :(
As always, one of the things I love about this series was the laugh out loud moments. Way too many to count. Phineus was as ever in the middle of most of those times. I can't wait to see him get a HEA.
I liked the storline progression in this book. Although small, we did get to see more of the direction this series will be going in. Some really great action towards the end of the book. It was great to see Dare (the demon) added to the cast of the bad guys. I wonder whay he wants from Han and his evil followers? It'll definately be a good show.
I can't wait to read another book and am desperate to know who's book will be next?
Gregori became one of my favourite characters ever since I read the first book of the series (only the first book though) so even though I didn't really like the author-style I went ahead and gave this book a try.
Turns out I still don't like the way Ms. Sparks write about her characters. Perhaps I have a tendency to compare her to a certain author who gives their characters more passion and reason so I was certainly not feeling it with this series.
One thing - the characters have really shaky emotions. They waver from being passionate in love to suspicion one second to the next without further reason all to feed a certain template used often for romance novels. (ie, the guy and girl fall in love at first sight, guy and girl separate from a misunderstanding, reconcile later after much sweet gestures from either party). The reason behind all these emotions evoked by the characters is not strong enough, thus making it all seem unconvincing to me. It left me very unsatisfied as it was a bullet train of emotions with no tracks underneath. Not quite sure what to make of this and am very disappointed since the setting of this story has so much potential, but the passion exerted is lighter than intended so I'm not feeling it at all.
The video of the big battle in the last book has gone viral, and mortals are starting wonder if vampires are really real. So it falls to the harmless-bottle-fed-never-bit-a-human Gregori to be the poster child for vamps when doing damage control and trying to win the support from the President to officially 'debunk' the videos. However, the President's cooperation is going to come with price - Gregori is going to have to accompany the President's limelight shy eldest daughter Abby on a secret expedition.
Yay, the Sexiest Vampire Alive turned out to be just the light and sexy book that I needed as a palate cleanser after all the dark (but good) books from the previous set of new releases. I thought Gregori was yummy and it is fun seeing the 'play boy' vamp fall for the brainy beauty he can never have - I liked the way that Gregori is instantly intrigued with Abby and the fact that the vamp issue is out in the open from the very start. I also liked the touch of forbidden love along with the conflict caused by what Gregori wants, what he needs to do to keep his people safe, and what Abby needs in order to save her dying mother, and that all of those things makes the pair have to work just a bit to get their happily ever after.
From a series point of view, the void created by Casimir's death is filled by a new mysterious evil villain and I enjoyed seeing my favorites among the cast putting in cameo appearances. The story even does a better job of setting up Doctor Phang than in other books (he's not so over the top in this one) - I think that I saw that his book is next.
So another fun episode in the Love at Stakes series and another vampily ever after:)
Why do so many of the reviews say that this is humorous? I read this book based on those reviews. So where's the Funny?! Instead of funny, I'd say it was lighthearted. Nothing wrong with that. It was actually a cute little story. I think that my only complaint would be that I thought the ending could have used a little more...something. An Epilogue maybe? However, because it was a lighthearted romp into paranormal romance, I can't say that I was invested enough in the characters to really be bothered by it too much. In the end, I'd say it was definitely not laugh-out-loud funny, but it was cute. And I mean that as a compliment. Also, some things in the book would probably not have seemed so odd if I had read some of the other books in the series. I'm just guessing, but it may not have been a good idea to jump on board with the 11th book.
All I really need to say about Kerrelyn Spark's Love at Stake series is More, More, More!!! I absolutely love all the characters that have been developed throughout these books & remain as reoccurring characters so you know how their lives are progressing. This book was no exception to the humorous, exciting, excellent romances of the other books. Yeah, it's not deep literature, but I feel so good when reading these books & always wish there was more at the end. Gregori is so hot & I love the taming of the flirty playboy. And of course his being paired with Abby, a US President's daughter who is also a brianiac biochemist, works right into the whole Dragnasti industries background that the books all surround. Of course all these relationships are very conveniently located & suddenly all these vamps who range from only a few years undead to nearly 500 are all falling in love within a couple years time. But heck, who cares when the stories are so fun to read & the guys are so sexy & love their women so thoroughly. Sexiest Vampire Alive is another great addition to the series!
OK... I am done with this series so far, They are fast and easy reads with crappy covers and constant regional slang words that don't belong. Rascal yet again mentioned in China and New York. I finally had enough. Everyone is a damn rascal. Whatever!
OTHERWISE... The story was a 4 star read. Gregori and the presidents daughter. Some governmental questions were not resolved as expected, even after they were firmly mentioned. I am not sure if I was supposed to figure it was implied that it was all solved or what. More charactrs added. Austrailian Vamps along with a kilted West Coast coven leader. Everyone seems to prefer the scottish vamps so here is her intro for another one since all the Romateh ones are now married.
I blew through this whole series in less than 2 weeks, so it was worth the uncomplicated time to read it straight through without missing a beat or switching/taking a break etc.
2 stars for story .5 stars for narration Playboy Hot Bod Vampire Gregori has been faced upside the head by the love bug. This bug had a very bad sense of humor, he fixed Gregoi's heart on the President of the USA's daughter. Not the one sen in the media at all the parties but the really smart one who will do anything to save her mother. Bantering, lusting and fighting are sure to come. I wasn't in like with this edition. First the narration for any of the military men was so awful, whiney weasel sounding voices with a sense of pettiness in their tones. Second this daughter was a manipulator who could only love if he was willing to put all his friends and family on the line for her. Bah that is not over that is control- (hated her for this) Third, why did Gregori fall for her, was I to believe she was good and true ?
To me, the cover doesnt really make sense, but let's not judge a book by its cover! I read it in just a few days which does not normally happens! I loved the cocky references Gregori would use and the almost innocent Abigail. overall, it was a good book.
Returning back to the Love at Stake series, I remember why I put this on my TBR Pile. When it comes to sweet romances, Ms. Sparks is one of the authors who consistently delivers. This is an older book and still stands the test of time. I still love this universe she's created. Many of her vampires are from the old world, this one is not. Gregori is a relatively new vampire. His conversion was done as an act of love and repayment. He may have struggled with it, but he's been proving himself.

It was super fun finally reading Gregori's story. And Kerrelyn Sparks paired him with the president of United States daughter. That was a big surprise for me. Both Gregori and Abbey fall in love really quickly. And they were soo cute. Again, the criminal part was up to minimum and we get to meet the same villian that we've seen in Carlos book. He will be a problem at least for couple of books. And in my opinion everything will finish with Russel's book. It's still a bit interesting how they will cope with their life's considering she again, the president's daughter. We will see 😊. And my rating is again 5⭐ Now, roll on book number 12 - Phineas and Bryn
Thanks to YouTube and a video showing the decapitation of the Malcontent leader, the secret existence of vampires is no longer quite so secret. Hoping to form an alliance with the U S government, Gregori Holstein is sent to convince the President and his advisors to convince the public the video is fake. Gregori is the epitome of what a young vamp should be, urbane, well educated, suave, gorgeous and totally bottle fed. Gregori has fed exclusively on synthetic blood since his turning and is the perfect example of the harmlessness of vampires to humans. Daughter to the President, Abby Tucker is a researcher dedicated to finding a cure for her mother’s Lupus. If the vampires can assist Abby in retrieving some necessary but forbidden plants in China the alliance will proceed. Gregori’s fascination with the first daughter could throw a monkey wrench into the whole plan. A vampire son-in-law is not good for approval ratings.
I wondered where the series would go after the last battle with the Malcontents and I see Kerrelyn Spark's creativity has served her well, yet again. Not only is the vampiric world in danger of a massive public outing but a new villainous threat has emerged. Muah hahaha! And from the darkest interior of China no less. This had a slightly darker tone than Ms. Spark’s previous books, at least in my humble opinion. Oh, it was still lighthearted in the beginning but once the story developed it became obvious that this new villainous threat was not to be taken lightly. I had looked forward to Gregori's story from the very first book and it was everything I had hoped for. He really got to shine and shake off the rookie playboy image. Oh, he was still his dashing self, but with a maturity that had been missing. Abby was a little intolerant for a researcher, or maybe too much of a researcher. She had dedicated her life to finding a cure for her mother's illness with a focus that left her with tunnel vision. While her intent was laudable, her willingness to use Gregori ticked me off a tad. Off course Gregori's prime objective was in direct contrast to winning his true love. He couldn't let her know that vampire blood was curative, the whole race would have been drained dry. But secrets have a way of being exposed and blowing up in everyone's face.
This book has re-energized this delightfully sexy and fun series and I am glad it looks like it will continue for quite a bit. The new shifter characters and Abby's sister certainly present some interesting threads. Of course it's always lovely to see what's happening with Roman and his brood, plus the Mackay's security force. There is no shortage of things to enjoy with these vamps and their cohorts, mates and the villains trying to upset their happy apple carts. Once again Ms. Sparks, job well done.
SEXIEST VAMPIRE ALIVE by Kerrelyn Sparks Love at Stake Series #11 09/11 - HarperCollins Publishers - Mass Market Paperback, 384 pages
Can you mix science with love and have all the facts add up in the plus column?
When the vampire nation comes out to the public, the vampires enlist their best public relations man, ah vampire Gregori Holstein to be the face of the kinder, gentler vampire. Gregori is the male perfection of what vampires aspire to with the face of an angel, and the ability to charm even the President of the United States to protect them.
The one person Gregori is not able to charm is the President’s daughter Abby. She is an independent scientist who has stayed off the publicity radar and wants to keep it that way. However, when she discovers that the vampires can teleport leaving the possibility of finding a cure to her mother’s illness shy Abigail becomes assertive Abby and gets them to help her find the missing ingredients to solve the mysteries around her mother's sickness.
The dangers are real as the dark forces of the Malcontents in the vampire world surround them and one mistake will cost them their eternal life. Secrecy is the key to any successful mission but one of the vampires has his own personal agenda that is distracting the team from getting what they need and getting back home. Gregori knows Abby will be safe with him as he is investing more than just a business relationship with her. The desire to see her life saved has taken on new meaning, as he wants more than he could ever imagine to have her life combined with his forever.
Gregori has another nightmare bigger and more sinister than anything he can control – his mother! She is forever in his life haunting him for grandchildren, and using every conceivable way to convince him that Abby is “the one.” Gregori loves his mother but this one he may have figured out on his own.
This series has held on for so long due to Ms. Sparks’s ability to write original and creative storylines. You have the basics but what Kerrelyn does with these characters is pure magic and allot of romantic fun that makes you fly through this book waiting for the next. Read them all and you will enjoy every one, I promise.
If you’ve read the other books in this series then you know who “Gregori the Gregarious” often referred to as a “play-boy” who’s never wanted to settle down. Someone always the life of the party and would always ensure some comic relief in this series from his crazy ideas, to his outlandish self-confidence. Well it’s finally his turn to meet a woman who’ll turn his world upside down, and of all people it’s the president’s daughter! In the last book a video is released of Conner killing Casimir, leading to the world finding out that vampires truly exist. At the start of this book we find ourselves in a pickle with the Vamps trying to figure out a way to cover up the video. The President has agreed to have the video discredited if the Vamps will escort his daughter on a mission into China. Sparks fly from the very moment Gregori lays eyes on Abby, he has promised to keep her safe but who is going to keep her safe from him? I came across this series a few years ago. During the time when I was beginning to out-grow the whole “twilight” phase. Originally I was skeptical, “it would just be another vampire romance.” That had started blending together into the same collage of characters. Kerrelyn Sparks managed to surprise me, she is actually funny! This book is no exception. I always enjoy the way Kerrelyn Sparks can keep things light-hearted and fun but also have the necessary suspense to keep you coming back for more from the maniacal Casimir, to the newest Evil Incarnate. The only problem some people may have is the romance can seem a bit rushed. The story takes place all in a few days’ time. Personally I can still feel the relationship building and I don’t mind as much, when you know, you know. Although a plus for Kerrelyn Sparks’ series is she keeps you up to date on all of her couples, but any book in this series can still be read as a stand-alone novel without losing the audience. I definitely recommend this book f you want a fun not too “sleazy” romance.
As Always if you have any recommendations or requests email me
Let's just start at the beginning, in this case the herione: Abby Tucker. I lost count how many times I wanted to slap her. To Oh my god, the sexiest man I have ever seen is a vampire, so I can't think of him right now, my mother is dying and I have to find a cure if it kills me first. Girl, it almost did. You were lucky Gregori is a vampire and can heal.
Her little pet name for Gregori, "Gori?" Two words: mood killer. I swear if she had said it one more time I would put this book down and never think twice about it.
I don't want to sound heartless over the whole my mother is dying and I need to find a cure thing. I would have done the same thing if I was in the science field and I could do something about it, but the way she went about it was wrong. As soon as she found out vampires' blood had healing properties, Gregori and every vampire in existence should have run the hell away! She's all I need your blood to heal my mother! You won't give it to me? Fine! Then I will leave you and not forgive you until you heal my mother! Young Gregori she played you like a fiddle.
And this one line she had, I have always wanted a family. Cue the tears (I swear it seemed like every other page this girl was crying). Girl you already have a family! Whose fault is it that you have a father that is the most powerful man in existence and a mother that is dying and a sister that carries a little rodent thats trying to pass for a dog in her designer purse! I guess she needed a vampire family to feel complete.
Okay I will stop ranting. I will close with this: I hope to never see Abby Tucker again.
Despite having this series on my wish list for a while I had yet to read any of the titles so when this book was offered for review I thought it would be the perfect chance to give it a try. Sexiest Vampire Alive is the 11th book in the long running Love at Stake paranormal romance series. While there is consistency through the series with an overall story arc and inter related characters, each individual book features a new couple so I found Sexiest Vampire Alive worked just fine as a stand alone novel, though I am sure the back story would make it a richer experience. Truthfully, the plot is a little silly but it does work within the framework of the story with a mix of romance, danger and excitement. The story flows nicely and I enjoyed the sense of humor, Sparks writing style is very readable. It's the relationship that develops between Gregori and Abigail that is center stage and I was quite happy to embrace the fantasy. There are the usual back and forth scenarios as the pair try to fight their overwhelming attraction to each other, a misunderstanding or two to keep things interesting and some spicy encounters but it all ends in a happily ever after which is pleasantly satisfying. Sexiest Vampire Alive doesn't pretend to be anything other than a light, fun romantic read and as such I found it enjoyable. I can see why the Love at Stake series is so popular among paranormal romance fans and I plan to read more of the titles when I need a bit of escapism.
I didnt love this book but I didnt hate it either. For the most part this was interesting to read but there was a lot that made me say "WHAT THE HELL!?". First off let me just say given the title name I was expecting tons of lusty vamp scenes but sadly was only given one! Secondly, Gregori is not the sexiest vampire alive. Sorry but my vote still goes to Eric Northman of the Sookie Stackhouse series. The thing about him that really put me off was the way he talked; "bro" and "chillax" just didnt do it for me. As for Abby, for someone who's so smart she sure had way too many dumb moments.
So Gregori, a vamp, has to protect the president's daughter, Abby. Simple, should be some laughs and romantic; which it all was...until they go to China. The trip to China completely threw me off. Here we are with two kinda dorky characters falling in love, both trying to fight it because of their positions in their own lives, you know the usual. But then suddenly we have to take an urgent trip to China? The whole story is predictable but this was just too much and unnessecary. I suppose something big need to happen and some kind of action with all the talk of the Malcontents but going to China could have been spared.
I dont think I'll read more of this series. The writing just didnt capture me. On to the next series I suppose.
TV Reporter Corky Courrant has released a video that proves that vampires are real. Word is spreading through the human race and the vampire leaders have chosen Gregori Holstein to meet with the President and persuade him to declare the video a hoax. After negotiations, the President agrees with one stipulation. He would like Gregori and his vampire friends to help his daughter, Abby, venture into China to find two plants she needs to complete a possible cure for her dying mother. Abby is still having a hard time believing vampires are real and doesn't trust them. But she is drawn to Gregori and believes he will keep her from harm.
After eleven books, I figured the series would be running out of steam; but this book was a very entertaining fast read. Gregori has appeared in most of the books in the series as a handsome young vampire with a sense of humor. In this book he is the hero and lives up to the role. He is given the task of convincing the President to keep the vampire race a secret. Vampires are afraid they will be hunted and staked during their death sleep when they are defenseless. He doesn't expect to fall for the First Daughter, Abby Tucker, a scientist who is searching for a cure for her mother's cancer. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
Karrelyn Sparks has done it again for me! Every book in this series just makes me love her writing more and more! I enjoy the lightness of it and even the serious moments. She has a way of making you laugh like crazy and even tear up for her characters. Truly unique for me. Ok, so this is Gregory Holstein's book. He is a "young" vampire and the head of the Marketing Department at Romeatech Industries. He is also known somewhat as a "playboy" around all of his friends and people that know him. I am not going to go into detail on this book, but it is a good one in this series. I thought that Karrelyn did a wonderful job in finding that perfect woman to tame Gregory. I am kind of worried though what she will do with this series now that Casmire is dead and almost all of her vamps are mated. I will be sad to see this series ended. But this book is a great addition to this series and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the paranormal romances with a bit of a laugh in them.
