In this work, bite-sized chunks of information equip managers with the skills to meet new challenges, improve efficiency and be successful. "Dealing with Difficult People" offers practical solutions for solving disagreements between colleagues, supervisors and customers.
A friend of mine recommended this book to me. It's fairly short. And it's written from the point of view from Manager to worker, however I found it pretty useful for everyday life situations. It's definitely more focused on work environments, settings goals and reasonable expectations, conducting fair meetings and exchange of ideas. However, their body cues section was pretty useful no matter what you do or how old you are.
I definitely recommend it for bosses, managers, and corporate types. For everyone else, I think it's still a good read but I'd recommend a something little different - a little less corporate.
