The story “I Am Santa” was originally a short story the author wrote in response to his daughter’s tearful “Daddy, does Santa really exist?” Recalling his mother’s dream, the author, in an answer to his daughter’s question, wrote this novella first as a short story that is read to his daughter every Christmas Eve. One Christmas Eve, his daughter had another question for the “Daddy, when are you going to get this story published?”
