I wanted to give a 4 rating instead of 5, cos this book unfortunately introduced me to the term 'catamites'. 😔
But, fine. It's still such a very detailed writing, minblowing read. I'm glad the drama didn't follow too much of the book (especially completely cutting off the catamite part from the plot), but I'm also happy the book gave the details of their romance a bit more warmth and time. 🥲
And so, yeah. Definitely five stars.
I read the book after I watched & multiple rewatched the drama. Going to do that again. So, the sad parts were predicted, but still caught me off guard. Still cried. 😭
The side stories of their next generation saved me from melancholy mood throughout the day, though. Fuh. 148 chapters, Love of Nirvana the novel, I'm patting myself well done.
