A cute story, but a bit more scattered than most of the Disney Golden Book entries. The story is about how Pocahontas came to acquire Meeko the raccoon. The narrative isn't all that strong, but the illustrations are nice and I can see a Pocahontas movie lover enjoying it for that reason.

I read this simply because I love Pocahontas, historical figure and the Disney character.
