One of the better travel/adventure books I've read. Very intriguing and occasionally hair-raising outing for one man walking from Tierra del Fuego to the ends of North America.

Interesting book and incredible journey. I like some of his more absurd turns of phrase, and how you're unsure of whether he's a major LAD! ("her bottom was very intriguing") or a family man who has sacked his wife and son off for over a year to go exploring (from a later obituary it appears he divorced before this trip)
