Ca$hMoney was my first foray into street lit and I have to say, I was really pleasantly surprised! The book is full of brand names, from fashion designers to cars - even the preferred brand of condom. For a while I was just readingreadingreading and thinking all this book had to offer was descriptions of shopping, riding, smoking and clothes and then bam: PLOT! And pretty good too!

In the end, I loved how the personalities came together, how characters' lives intersected and the following the decisions they made. I started out so ambivalent and ended happy. Sure, the formulaic aspects that you will find in any genre fiction were there - in this case these were mostly slang, drug use, sex, etc, but I didn't find that the book was too overloaded with those things.

I definitely enjoyed this book. SURPRISE.

Between the street talk and the way the publisher formatted the the book removed any interest in reading past the first several pages.

This book is basically about hustlers and how money can change people. Two friends go through many things together. Their females and their hustlers. They both have different ways of getting money but at the end of the day they are both risking their lives to get it.
This book is very interesting. It’s not your average book. It talks about drugs and gangs. I like this book because it teaches you what not to do with your life. No one wants to grow up to have to sell drugs and do dangerous things to get money. That why I found this book interesting because it teaches people all the wrong things that can go wrong from being a hustler. Having money and clothes and cars is a good thing but if you have to risk your life for it every day and risk others around then it’s not.
I did feel that the ending could have been more interesting and not plain.

This book is good. its about young adults who make money by selling drugs are having sex for money. This book i would recommend for others to read because it should how sometimes money can change us. When we start earrning tons of money we start to change into thinking were the best. An sometimes peoples can change for the best and others may change for the worse. It really depends on the person but this book really shows hoe money can effect people and how many in the world are in need of wanting a lot and having all the expensive materials. This book also shows that yeah they may be earning money but everyday they are risking thier lives because they see drugs and may get caught everyday is a challenge.

Good book, didn't really enjoy how the book went from one character to the other in the chapters.
