Thirty children are invited to spend their holidays aboard the good ship Destiny with an experienced crew of sailors. The following day, they wake up and find themselves alone on a tropical sea, far, far away from England. To the children’s horror, Sly Simon and Jack-the-giant decide to take over the command of the ship. Timid Busara, Heather-hip-hop, Duncan-dreamer and Akiko-the acrobat realise that Destiny is no ordinary ship, and begin to discover that they have hidden talents. This is not the only mystery that Destiny has reserved for this unlikely crew who will face the terrible Mutins. “Destiny, the ship, the crew and the cat” is not only an adventure story, but also and a tale of self-discovery and the magic of imagination.
