In Rust is a collection of short stories and poetry dealing with the subject of memories and how they fade over time. Featured, is the short story 'The Afterlife of Thomas Finn', about a college student who meets his unfortunate end choking upon a simple fortune cookie that bears the fortune "This will be your best year." As a ghost Thomas finds himself with too much time on his hands, and searches for some sort of meaning to his afterlife.
