Written over 20 years ago and still relevant/resonating today for Asian Canadian/diasporic (specifically Japanese, or Nikkei) queer women. Beautiful poetry, stories, and prose, contrasting the experiences of two Japanese Canadian lesbians in the 1990's. Recommended for anyone interested in themes related to Asian feminisms, race, queerness, identity, family, love, longing and community.
