In a savage world ruled by the pursuit of the most delicious foods, it's either eat or be eaten! While searching for the tastiest foods imaginable, Gourmet Hunter Toriko travels the world with his bottomless stomach, facing every beast in his way.
Toriko and friends continue their search for the Regal Mammoth and the delicious “jewel meat” found deep in the creature's body. Toriko can handle the wildest beast that nature has to offer, but the team may be in some serious trouble when more robots from the evil Gourmet Corp. join the party.
Very intriguing. I like the different animals and the different gourmet hunters and their abilites. The introduction of an evil organization in the same field will be very interesting arcing detail.
It’s pretty hard to believe that humans would thrive and develop culturally to the extent that they’d be concerned with making sophisticated culinary decisions in a world so overrun with gigantic, ferocious monsters. But I’m into it.
Really loving Toriko so far!! Great art and love the characters so far and the fighting is pretty awesome! Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!😻💪😁❤️❤️
The Regal Mammoth arc truly gets underway in this volume as we see the Toriko, Sani, Terry, Rin, and Komatsu enter into the IGO's First Biotope. They subsequently get separated (only to rejoin later) and each group gets developed separately. Even Coco from the previous volume shows up halfway. The regal mammoth makes its appearance in full towards the end of this volume, with a rather big twist on what and how exactly are they retrieving the gourmet ingredient from it. The GT Robo are getting quite a bit of spotlight here as well, with a passing explanation of the Bishokukai.

Toriko and his allies battle Gourmet Corp. for the life of the Regal Mammoth. The best part is half the battle is fought inside the mammoth as it's big enough for them to fit in its veins.
