I really enjoyed learning about bone health, since I am and have been experiencing osteoporosis and osteopenia. I bought this book over a year ago to read up on what taking alendronate would do to by body. I didn't read the rest of the book, but should have. The information here is well worth studying and passing that information on to your daughters and granddaughters.
This was an "okay" resource. Schneider does an admirable job of explaining osteoporosis, bone loss, and prevention. The chapter on the different medications is very useful. I would have liked more information on healthy diet and exercise.
