The Invisible Chains

Rate this book
When the body of a young Nigerian girl pulled from the River Clyde leaves police stumped, investigative journalist Megan Ross’s desire for answers is piqued. As she delves deeper she discovers the girl’s death is not an isolated incident. Another body, found in the city’s Botanics with similar markings to the first corpse, connects her to some very powerful people. Her quest to report the truth, however, becomes a terrifying fight to save her own reputation – and the lives of those she holds dear. Told from two compelling points of view from two very different worlds, The Invisible Chains is a chilling crime thriller that strikes right to the heart of a crime network the upper echelons of society would rather remain secret. All profits raised from the sales of this book will go to the Trafficking Awareness Raising Alliance (TARA), a support service in Glasgow for trafficking survivors and to Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland (SOHTIS).

A gripping read that keeps you turning the page until you've finished! A hugely important book that raises awareness of human trafficking. An absolute must read. Credit to LE Hill for a great novel.
