When life gets to be too much, I need a book I can lose myself in, have a few laughs and feel the stress of life melting away. This book should come with a cup of hot chocolate and few cookies; it would then be a total escape package. I was hooked within the first few pages when the main character tried to use vibrating mascara, and “squealed when the wand took on a life of its own and attacked her.” After laughing, I knew this book was just what I needed.
The characters were delightful; there was a hot stud muffin, a sweet girl who just happens to get kidnapped, and a funny, spunky, ass kickin' friend who keeps life lively and upbeat. Oh, and let’s not forget Gay, whom is special in her own way. I love her, and would love to see her in her own book sometime.
This book was like a mini vacation for me, I hope there are more books like this by Rebecca Forster to come and soon. : )

The idea of the good girl Dominique Baker finally deciding to break out and have some fun leads her to be in the wrong place at the right time to meet mysterious T.J. Wilde.

After the case of mistaken identity leads T.J. and Dominique on an adventure, I felt the storyline lost a little momentum. The fast-paced beginning and our introductions got me excited about the characters, but the dragging out of the main obstacle felt flat, unsupported and a bit rushed.

I felt the end also ended up a bit rushed after the build up. Overall, I enjoyed the characters and the plot had a good premise. The middle of the story could of used a bit more detail and some focusing to help the flow run smoother to the end.

A quick, fun read.

After reading the Witness series, I came to really enjoy Ms. Forster's writing so on whim I purchased this book. I can say that it was not horrible, it had some very commical scenes that left me laughing. The one thing that I didn't like was how unbelievable it was. I know, I know, I am reading fiction and ALL OF IT is unbelievable but I at least like to think that it could possibly happen. With the author's series that I had read and her other book, Character Witness, I found them much more developed (Plot and character) which help me understand the dynamics of the story which also makes them not seems so far-fetched.
As far as grammatical errors, I do not think I saw any.

I really enjoyed this book until it ended so abruptly. Would have liked the characters to tie up the loose ends.
