When everyone in the barnyard is too busy to listen to young Peter Pig's song, he leaves in search of a sympathetic soul, and finds one in a friendly frog.
Our fourth grade class got to "help" illustrate this book (the author had us illustrate to solicit ideas), and I drew Peter Pig in all the illustrations while Garth drew the frog. So I've got a soft spot for this book.
Pig has a song and he wants to sing it and others to listen. He runs away to the fond and finds a friend to listen and also sing. Cause the best part of a song, oinky, oinky oink Is when someone sings along!
