We just read this book for a book club I'm in. I must say we had some pretty lively discussion and everyone loved it. There were varying opinions concerning certain aspects which made it all the more interesting.
The "whodunnit" suspense was there but since this is by a Christian author there were some evangelistic portions added in that made it feel a bit disjointed. Overall, it was pretty good.
This is a fantastic book. I was captured by the story and the characters and couldn't put this book down. I loved the gentle but undeniable presentation of the gospel. This book is a depiction of life and the willingness to be used by God, 'for such a time as this'. The current and relevant subject matter was intriguing. The enemy will really stop at nothing to thwart God's plans and people but God will always come out on top. Great book!!!!!
I LOVED this book! A great combination of suspense and Christian message. Very relevant to today's politics and how the appointment of a Justice can sway the law so greatly. I think others may not have liked it b/c in it the President is a committed Christian and at one point the salvation message is preached through an attorney to his clients. It moves QUICKLY!!! Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
This book was a good page turner. A thrill a minute and Jerome Teel dia good job of telling the story where it was not too long and captured his reader early on. I thoroughly enjoyed this great read.
It's okay, not great. The plot is semi-interesting. The Christian subtext was too preachy (I'm a Christian saying this). If it was meant for a Christian audience the subplot was too shallow. If it was meant for non-Christians there's too much jargon for them to get the message.
Surprisingly good read. Predictable ending but other than that there were enough plots to keep you interested. It is definitely a "Christian" book with a very obvious message.
