I think I can get use to these short stories, nothing like a good quickie every now and then. Reading the second book in the "Blessed and Highly Favored Series" was just as enjoyable if not better than the first. Dee Dee the wild child, ends up experiencing some trials that end up turning her whole world around for the better. It's interesting how we can sometimes put everything before God until tragedy strikes and then still can be so stubborn not to turn it over to Him. Dee Dee had everything she needed to make her life complete, but couldn't see her blessings until it was almost to late. Another abrupt ending making you want more. I know before it is all over I will have read the entire series. This one is only 36 pages so you can basically read it over lunch or as a bedtime story.

Encouraging

The child adoption, the stalker and the false prediction all connected to open "Dee Dee's" eyes that she needed to accept her free salvation. I enjoy the author's writing but just I am appreciating the story,it ends.

The Beloved

The story of Dee Dee Morrison and her life changing situations. Selfish, totally self absorbed, three failed marriages and trying her best to go for four. But a encounter with God has a way of redirecting one's life.

book 2 in "The Blessed and Highly Favored" series.

Dee Dee has adopted a 3-year old girl, Natua, for her sister Elaine. Now Dee Dee and Natua are being stalked.

I find this series to be a bit lacking for a seasoned author. This one is quite predictable but we never find out who the stalker is.
