This is a strange book. It is not a biography in the ordinary sense, nor review of the music. Michael King has instead created a timeline of sorts, from Wyatt's birth through 1993. It's a documentary record, with reprints of press releases, liner notes, public statements, recording dates, gig set lists, and just about anything else that might interest a reader in the working life of one of the most influential British musicians of late 20th-century popular/avant garde music.

There are some great tidbits in this book, and I'll certainly scramble for Robert Wyatt tidbits, but note that this book is a "history", not a "biography", and it very much has the approach of a fanzine collection of facts rather than anything with much depth or analysis. Maybe Wyatt prefers it that way...
