normally, i hate books that say (insert action) for dummies. i hate the 'dummy' assumption. even if it is a marketing ploy. but a friend told me to check out books that give examples of cover letters and resumes. after reading this book, i was surprised at how much i learned about marketing myself. i've revamped my cover letters and thank you/follow up letters to showcase my achievements and qualifications. i'm excited to see the results and response from potential employers. i'm beginning to change my mind about the whole 'dummies' series...

Good, comprehensive overview of how to write a cover letter. Personally, I found it very helpful that the author included complete examples of what a good cover letter is supposed to look like.
