A New Threat Taunts Savannah's Vampyre Dynasty ... After two hundred years of womanizing ways, powerful eternal and shameless badboy Reece Clairmont is definitely the rogue of the realm. Now with shipments going missing from the family empire and a crop of mysterious newborns making its presence known, his focus has to be on business-if only Sidney didn't bring to mind pure pleasure. ... as an Everlasting Passion Ignites. Dark, graceful and blessed with the rare IQ of a genius, Dr. Sidney Campbell's interests couldn't be further from those of impossibly sexy Reece. He's all lust; she's all logic. United by the need to protect their loved ones, Sidney might have to expand her theories on biology and chemistry-but can she tame a rogue and his scandalous ways without getting her heart broken?
Lisa Phillips began writing at age nine, after reading The Secret Garden. Today she is a multi-published author of paranormal and contemporary romance, as well as mainstream women's fiction and nonfiction humor. As a life-long southerner, the traditions, charm and beauty of the South are consistent themes throughout all her novels.
Lisa Phillips has certainly managed to capture my attention this year ! A new author on the block, her opening book Obsession Everlasting, certainly showed “her stuff”. Ms Phillips’ writing skills masterfully weaving a Trilogy of The Rhealm. The second book of the series, I was happy to read and review, Knight Everlasting was also a continuation of the “family” of vampires, who live to co-exist with us mortal humans…,
Simon and Fallyn were sexy and sensual, with a lot of lighthearted dialogue that Ms Phillips has a way with. Tristan and Kate are fierce, and oh so sexy and when Tristian lovingly called “the old one” at 11,000 or so years old, calls his Kate My Lady you just swoon. The entire ensemble come back for more in the third book Rogue Everlasting.
Reece, the bad boy of the family, meets Sidney, a doctor, who has been bitten by an enemy and in order to save her, he must turn her much to her chagrin. We learn about the baggage the both bring with them, and the sensual dance begins….
The old world charm in which they live in the south, in mansions beyond our wildest dreams, drinking blood from chalices, served by butler and maid faithfuls . Of course the Rhealm is not always peaceful and we have pitfalls along the way, and in the end, whether Mortal or Immortal, the love of ones family and having the love of ones mate is really what life or existence is all about. If this sounds mushy to you…maybe.but I for one could not stop reading this series.
Ms Phillips has shown me her writing style is smooth, her dialogue strong, and the fun shines through more than most I have read recently…Some really laugh out loud moments…Some very sensual scenes between the characters…and most of all the love. I had a hard time writing this…For in doing so, it means the end ….and I so hate to see my friends go….Hopefully Ms Phillips will pick up pen and grace us again …..

When you’re over two centuries old and your motto has always been love 'em and leave 'em and your now quiet heart would beat for only one woman, suddenly the title of Rogue Everlasting is in danger.
Lisa Phillips gives us one heck of a paranormal romance in Rogue Everlasting. Her plot is unique and with book stores and eReaders jammed full of Vampire romance, that says something. It’s the story itself that is amazing and the way that this storyteller spins her tale that kept me enraptured from page one to the end. Her characters are larger than life, and yet with every page I read I could easily see them floating through the night, loving their families and taking care of business like they were everyday ordinary people.
Her dialogue is a mix of Southern Charm, everyday speak and a bit of language from the times of knights and ladies, and best of all it’s easy to read and understand. Her hero, Reece Clairmont, is a rogue of the first degree and when this talented author brings him to his knees at the altar of true love she does it with flair and with heart.
Her heroine, Sidney Chambers, is all business and it’s really fun to watch as she loses her heart to our handsome rogue. The romance is timeless -- boy chases girl until she lets him catch her -- with a few paranormal issues included to make the novel hard to put down. The love scenes are sensual and tastefully understated, yet I could feel the heat myself.
The biggest sign of a great storyteller is that I couldn’t stop reading, not when domestic chores or even pleasures called to me, I had to read one more page, one more chapter until I finally closed the book with a definite sigh.
This is a must read for any lover of paranormal romance and even if you’re not a fan of the genre give this one a try because it’s just that good of a story.
Ms. Phillips I want to thank you for one of the most impressive novels I’ve ever read and I assure you that this will not be the last I read of you.
Very sweet, loving, humorous and sexy. This book has vampires but not in the over kill way some books describe them. I thought this book's characters all fit together perfectly. My fav character would be Reece but Ryder my close second. I love them all for being such a loving family and reaching out to Ryder and giving him a home and feelings that he belongs, then with Lucy. I loved the Caroline part too what a witch. Sydney is so cute with her shyness and words that sounds so analytical, love her and Reece together too, they both deserve happiness but Reece is forever the playboy so who knows if he can commit. Great book, very intriguing, sexy and sweet. 4 stars
Reece is a bad boy player who needs to change his game plan when he finds a woman who prefers work over play. Sidney is a woman who is sure love doesn't exist until it chases her down and tackles her.
I enjoyed this book and have purchased the other books in the series. I was not as connected to the characters as I am sure I would have been if I had read the books in order, but I was not lost either. I really like Reece, but I would like to know Sidney better. Perhaps her character was one that is explored a bit more in the other books. I shall have to see. When I read those I may have to change my review.
