Career woman Jessica Tandy, has a rest stop in a tiny town called Alma, in the Alaska Range. Coming back from the 'camping trip from hell', with a cold and obnoxious boyfriend; she meets Flint Riverclaw, a Native Alaskan. The handsome stranger sees she's unwell with her diabetes and insists on shouting her food and drink.
He offers to take her to Anchorage, since her boyfriend who's driving, has been drinking beer. Jessica accepts and the two continue to become acquainted, during the journey. Flint's strong build, handsome features and kindness wins her over, so much so, she invites him into her hotel room. Although there are moments where he growled, his teeth felt sharp or she could have sworn his eyes glowed turquoise; Jessica rates it as her best sexual experience.
The next morning, she tiptoes out when he's still asleep, to catch her flight back to Seattle. However, she can't get the man out of her mind as her body won't stop shaking. She's shocked three days later when out of the blue, Flint shows up at her apartment to tell her two things; he is a Lokoti Werewolf and she is his pregnant mate.

I couldn't possibly be reading the same book as those who left 5-star reviews.
If you can't play the guitar, don't start a rock band until you can. If you can't write, don't publish an ebook until you learn how. I feel terrible about leaving this kind of review, but this is a prime example of someone who has some skill in storytelling but not the technical know-how. I honestly wonder if the author is 12, because that's how he/she writes. There are formatting issues all throughout the book on darn near every page. Punctuation is still a mystery to this author. So are plot and human relations. The book reads as if it were thrown together in a week, but never revised or edited. The sex is technically accurate, but 'technically accurate' is the last way you want to have your sex scenes described. You should be going for HOT here! The only good thing I can say about this book is, thank God I didn't pay money for it!
Based on the description, this story held a lot of promise, but that promise was just not realized in this edition. I seriously recommend the author take down this book, revise, edit and revise again, rinse and repeat as often as necessary until this story is so polished that it shines. As it stands right now, I wouldn't line the birdcage with it. I'd rate it zero stars if I could.

This book had conflicting messages and the characterization of Jessica was not consistent. This review will reveal some things in the plot... so if you plan on reading it anyway, just know that.
Jessica is all: woman-power! Go girl speak your mind! But doesn't say anything to her party when she needs food for her diabetes.
Her one-night stand man comes to retrieve her after revealing she is his mate and the girl just drops EVERYTHING after one petty argument. So it's like no! you're crazy...oh, alright let's go.
It was like no I'm not coming with you oh, you really are a wolf, okay la la la time to quit my high-position job for you. I would have liked to see more of a chase, more resistance, even if it was hurting her not to be near him, as the wolf guy explained.
Then the end of the book I just felt bad for the author, that she could really write such an inadequate piece... the events were so...bland and unbelievable.
Everything progressed in such a rosy and plain way. I honestly thought no way, the author is NOT spending the conclusion of the novel talking about how Jessica is remodeling the house, pages and pages on end..and why is that the first thing she thinks to do when she comes to live with her now husband? It felt so evasive and rude.
One might read it if you'd like to check out the couple of "steamy" scenes, but as for the rest...no.

I have not yet read the series so I cannot comment whether this is a prequel or a short with-in the series. I can tell you the story begins in August 1999 while Jessica is returning for a camping trip from hell with her soon to be ex-boyfriend Steve and his friends Brian and Abi. Where in diabetic distress Jessica Tandy meet Flint Riverclaw and he tends to immediate needs of her health.
The cover art was just horrible. I only downloaded “Claimed” for free on by kindle because of the Good Reads Synopsis: Jessica Tandy is coming back from a camping trip in Alaska, when she meets the tall, dark and handsome Flint Riverclaw. They chat in a bar during a rest stop, which eventuates into a one-night-stand, and ultimately changes the rest of her life. Why do Flint’s brown eyes occasionally glow turquoise, or he growls so much? Imaginations run wild, in this supernatural, romance novella,
“Claimed” is a small nugget of a novella written by K.R. Smith to bring readers into her “Circulate Series”. Now does it work? For this reader would have to o’l fat “YES”!

Okay this whole review is just a huge spoiler because, honestly, I don't care.
First of all, this book really tripped me up, it was published in 2011(?) but it takes place in the 90's. Now, there's nothing wrong with that, but most of this crap felt really jarring.
Jessica (the "heroine") claims to be an ~independent woman~ because *Cher Horowitz's voice* "duh, this is like, the 90's" but then she lets her boyfriend treat her like crap and falls in lust love at first sight with a 75 year old stranger and jumps into bed with him (nothing wrong with that) without a condom (everything wrong with that). I mean, it is the 90's, so I'm sure she's heard Salt N' Pepa's Let's Talk About Sex...
You know when someone does some shit that's so embarrassing you feel bad and you don't even have anything to do with it, I don't mean 2nd hand embarrassment, I mean beyond that.
This creepy dude Flint Riverclaw (i s2g...) is buying her dinner and looking out for her because she has diabetes and that's... considerate, even though he sprinkles a lot of weird talk about a man taking care of his woman over that. But still, I guess he's being kind? I'd tell him thanks but no thanks but Jessica seems receptive to this stuff so you'd expect her to reciprocate with polite conversation.
Jessica: "I make 50k a year how much do you make?"
Like... omg. Girl, shut up, you're an embarrassment to me and you're not even real!
Then of course there's a bunch of caveman stuff where he knocks her up (THIS IS WHY YOU USE A CONDOM EVEN IF THE DUDE IS A WEREWOLF) and claims she must come and live with him in some backwater hole and she's like, "But I'm just becoming hugely successful at my job as a powerful 90's executive lady and I struggled so hard to make it this far!" and I'm all, "cool, some compromise ahead, you keep wearing those huge shoulderpadded business suits, girl, keep those coins coming" hahah no.
She leaves her whole life behind, including her cat and (this was my favourite part) her rolodex to go and live with this creepy freak in the middle of nowhere in a wood cabin like the unabomber or something.
She still manages to bring a touch of the urbane when she snickers over being so ~advanced~ that she has, in fact, sent a few emails in her life. Girl, wow. Emails?! That's some matrix shit...
Then of course she gives birth like she just stepped off the Mayflower, legit in a cabin in the woods, bleeding to death. I'm not making up that part, she almost bled out (yes! communing with nature is so magical, right?) and was left sterile after that, but you'd think she'd be glad her baby was ok? No, with her newborn son in her arms, barely sparing him a glance, her main concern is for her poor husband who won't get any more kids out of her baby oven.
I mean... I mean, really.

This was great! Totally surpassed my expectations. I loved it, I couldn't stop reading from the second I started reading and I didn't want to stop! This was definitely one of the better werewolf stories I have read in a while. I loved the characters, I love the way Flint protected Jessica right from the start. Her boyfriend Steve was a total jack-ass and I was glad when he was finally out of the picture. He just expected Jessica to be enthusiastic with camping when she wasn’t used to the outdoors nor an out-door type, he treated her like a joke as she explains to Flint herself;
I wouldn’t be keen to pee behind a tree either. When Flint took it upon himself to see Jessica safe and take her to Anchorage I was pleased as punch, goodbye Steve. After a steamy romp with Flint, this get a little complicated but everything works itself out and Jessica finds the place where she truly belongs and will live the rest of her life happy. This was so well written, it flowed so smoothly and the information about the Tribe and its ways were told in a way that didn't leave you confused or feeling over-loaded with information. A brilliant novella.

I'm sorry, I just wasn't a fan of this one. I was contemplating a 2 star vote, but then thought again about how much it annoyed me and couldn't quite get there (which made me sad).
But, I have a problem in that I am almost physically incapable of not finishing a book to it's bitter end.
The plot itself has promise, Jessica is on a camping trip with her loser boyfriend and two other people in Alaska. They stop in a bar the night before they are supposed to fly out of Anchorage and they all get wasted except for Jessica who is apparently going into diabetic shock. A hot, nice Native Alaskan (Flint) helps her out by driving her to Anchorage to catch her flight and they end up sleeping together that night. Hot guy is of course a werewolf. Jessica leaves the next morning, makes it home to her job, and then basically starts going through withdrawals because without her knowing it she has mated Flint. He comes for her after 3 days and has to explain what happened. Ok, I can deal with that, mostly.
What I can't deal with is how it was presented. I think it was really a lot of little things that added up:
First off, every other sentence had an exclamation point at the end when the heroine (Jessica) was speaking! I mean, really? Every other sentence! You see how this would get annoying quick? Maybe it's just me! Why?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other grammar atrocities occur.
Most of the dialogue was on the terrible end. At one point the heroine actually shouts: "Just take me gosh dammit!" Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! She was also really, really annoying.
The sex scenes were...um...yeah. It felt like she jumped in a puddle? Gross man!
I, apparently along with a couple of other reviewers, wonder if it was written by a teenager. And not in a good way.
Stereotypes: awful!
The only bonus point is that it was free on Kindle...now I'm gonna delete it. :( Sorry!

Wow, the reviews for this story are really hot and cold. The Grammar Police are such killjoys. I was honestly so caught up in the story and didn’t notice the grammar. I know that I would be the first person behind bars if the Grammar Police had any real power. Thank goodness, I’m here to read the stories not to edit them. If I were in charge, there would be a lot more run-ons and a lot fewer commas in the world. Please, let’s not get started on my typos- I am in no position to criticize a storyteller’s grammar. That said; the story has a lot going for it. The chemistry between Jessica and Flint is good, but if the story were a bit longer I might have been better. For me he proverbial wheels fell off when it was all too easy for Jess to accept Flint’s biology, sell her home, and move so far. I felt like the author missed an opportunity to really build more tension and take the story to another level. As the story is, it was a pleasant little romance. I am interested in what the author might do with a longer story.

Lokoti werewolf finds his mate in a Seattle city girl... 3.5 stars!
This book was recommended in my j/p hero book group, and even though the blurb sounded a bit ridiculous, I was excited to read it. Flint and Jessica meet at a bar in a small town in Alaska, and after her ex-boyfriend ditches her, Flint offers to drive Jessica to Anchorage for her flight the next morning. During the drive to Anchorage, Flint and Jessica find comfort in each other and succumb to their lust in her hotel room later that night. After their one night of passion, Jessica reluctantly leaves for her flight back to Seattle, but Flint is not as willing to let go of his mate so easily.
In some ways this was your typical fated mates shifter novella; Flint finds his mate in Jessica who is a city girl through and through. However, there were some elements that were new to me like how Jessica turned physicall ill after being away from Flint for three days because of the mate-bond. I would have loved for Flint to have been more of an alpha j/p male, especially since we learn that he's the leader of his pack, but he was simply just a really sweet guy. Overall, this was a quick and sweet story that seemed realistic in Jessica's reaction to Flint telling her she had no choice but to move back to Alaska with him. It wasn't the j/p story I was hoping for, but not a bad read.

DUMB. DUMB. DUMB. SO DUMB IT HURTS.

What was this author thinking? This book is so funny but not intentionally. It's hilarious because it's so appalling. I read a few chapters and couldn't stop laughing.
I can handle the poorly written prose, the odd sentence structuring and childish use of words. But the plot, asinine dialogue and character non-development was LMAO funny.

Heroine: So we have our heroine, Jessica Tandy, who thinks in normal Western civilised culture one goes about introducing themselves to total strangers by mentioning how much they earn.... Well sweety - we all may have met a few people like that but they're considered ill-bred show off's whom no one would consider a model of propriety and good conduct!
Jessica Tandy goes into a bar and meets the hero (Flint Clawsomething) and introduces herself by mentioning that she earns $50k. I was embarrassed on her behalf!
She's a blonde, fragile, beautiful cliche and also a bimbo. Her childish monologues, ridiculous observations, and immature dialogue was cringe-worthy and irritating to read e.g. "I want to eat you" comebacks- I mean seriously.
Hero: he's a replica of a cliched historical-cheap-romance Native American caricature-bodice-ripper-hero - the whole long black hair, doesn't-speak-very-good-English, Neanderthal type.
I feel terrible on behalf of all Native Americans. The author manifested his "Native" culture in the most insulting manner that again was cringe-worthy to read. His speech, ignorance and sexist attitude was shocking.
English clearly isn't his first language but that still doesn't explain his stilted and hick speech. And what's with the whole "does your MATE provide for you."
Now I'm English and when I hear "mate" it has diff connotations for me - I'm referring to friend/ chum/ pal etc. If I heard a dude speaking the way our lovely Flint Clawsomething did - I would be in stitches.
And then there's all this "provide for my mate" and "bear my young" and "protect my mate" stuff which was again cringe worthy and unflattering to our poor hero.
Supporting cast - one of the characters is called "Wisetail" - I kid you not. I was going to make a few particularly rude jokes but decided that would be in poor taste. Other than that - all the characters are from a set of cliches.

Anyway, all I could say is that this cliche is ok if you can switch off your brain and ignore the appalling writing, dialogue, characters, plot... and well everything really.

The heroine's name is Jessica Tandy, which had me skip this book once even though it's free. That was a mistake. I really enjoyed this book and for sure will read more by this author.
Jessica is having the camping trip from hell with her soon to be ex-boyfriend. She's a diabetic, but he doesn't think of that or help her out in anyway. They stop at a bar where she's forced to go to the bar herself to get a juice because he's too busy drinking it up. Flint walks over to help her. When Jessica and her ex end up fighting, Flint offers to take her to her hotel. They end up kissing and you know what, and Flint's werewolf chooses her as a mate, she just doesn't know it.
I loved how Jessica didn't really fight fate. Yes, she's scared and at first she thinks he's nuts, but she just lets life happen and ends up having a great one. Wonderful story.
Jessica is having the camping trip from hell with her soon to be ex-boyfriend. She's a diabetic, but he doesn't think of that or help her out in anyway. They stop at a bar where she's forced to go to the bar herself to get a juice because he's too busy drinking it up. Flint walks over to help her. When Jessica and her ex end up fighting, Flint offers to take her to her hotel. They end up kissing and you know what, and Flint's werewolf chooses her as a mate, she just doesn't know it.
I loved how Jessica didn't really fight fate. Yes, she's scared and at first she thinks he's nuts, but she just lets life happen and ends up having a great one. Wonderful story.

OH MY GOD! I love this book!! I finished it in a day! I wish it was a series or something <3 <3 *sigh* Perfectly written, the only thing i didn't understand were how the werewolves looked? Not sure i might have to re-read that part because it sounded kinda corny/weird, but either way brilliant job! It's a shame that this book costed me $0 !! i would've paid so much ! After readign it i felt so guilty i wanted to cash like 10 dollars in Smith's bank account. Lol anyways, beautiful read, i just might re-read it

need to be slowed down
It was alright. It was rushed in so many parts. I would have loved to see the story slowed down to get a better feel of the couple.

After the story, there is a note that this novella is actually just the flashback part of a longer novel, which is good. Good as in it makes the disproportionate amount of exposition and conversation to explain things make more sense. Not necessarily good as in I want to read the full novel.
Overall, this novella was pretty bad. Not very good. Kinda a waste of three hours. Perhaps not the worst thing I ever read, but not much better.
So, what made it so bad? Well, let's start with the commas. I rarely comment on the formatting/editing of what I read, but the commas in this really ruined things. There were too many, but it oftentimes seemed that they were still missing in places. This made understanding many of the sentences much more difficult than it should have. I mean, I still figured it out quickly enough; but needing to look back at a sentence really ruined the flow of reading.
Then there's the fact that the author seemed to create these characters by putting together a bunch of stereotypes and clichés, especially of Native Americans and Alaskans. Most of these characters were just not believable at all. And the "twist" - if you want to call it that - was actually rather predictable and so very dumb. Poorly done. Just bad. The character then made a joke using a common cliché that took me a while to realize he was joking because it would have fit in with the rest of the description of the character.
And then there was the sex. Really graphic sex. And a lot for how short the novella was. Pretty much porn.

“Claimed” by K.R Smith is a paranormal romance novella and I enjoyed reading it. It’s a werewolf story, little different of what I have used to read so far. In which way? Here the werewolves aren’t the I-want-to-look-like-a-badass-man-but-I-am-a-good-guy type but they are nice men who live in a quiet place with their families.
The story is about Jessica a young woman who was about to break up with her boyfriend but for the moment she got stuck in a small town in Alaska after a horrible trip. In a small bar there, while she was ignored by her boyfriend and his friends, a sexy stranger helped her because she didn’t feel well. After that, he offered to drive her in another city so she can take the plane and go back to Seattle. But, as always, the fate had other plans and Jessica found herself in bed with the sexy stranger. After a few days, she learned the truth that changed her life.

This story begins with Jessica, a diabetic that has traveled to Alaska with her two month boyfriend, Steve and his friends. They end up at a bar where Jessica isn’t feeling well from camping for the past week and there she meets Flint. Flint sees her despair and after having words with Steve, he offers to take her where she needs to go. The evening ends up being a passion filled night for Jessica with Flint. There’s a bonding there she is unaware of but when Flint finds her, there is no going back to the normal life she had before. She moves to Alaska with Flint, and there’s where their story begins. This was a cute story for me and I’d enjoy reading more from this author.

I thought it left out a bit to much about her just dropping everything. No parent communication. No real wedding. IDK it lacked for me. The use of Whilst was...lame to say the least. I am glad it was short.

The story/storyline has a lot of potential, but it needs some more work. I'd prefer to see less sex... Werewolves are passionate, but the scenes were a bit too graphic IMO. I would love to see this story fleshed out a bit more as well.

Claimed is the first book in Smith's Lokoti Werewolf series and though I have read some negative reviews of this book, I think it was pretty good and I really enjoyed reading it. The copy that I have been given did have one or two error's, but I was notified that the author has already submitted a revised copy.
Jessica Tandy, a self proclaimed city girl and business professional, goes on a camping trip with her boyfriend of two months and a couple of his friends. Unfortunately, what she thought would be fun turns into the camping trip from Hell. All she wants now is a nice hot bath, a nice bed to sleep in, some good old fashion room service, and an actual toilet. When the group stops at a local bar it seems she will not get any those things though, plus she's hungry and her blood sugar is low. There is one shining star in all of this though. It seems she has caught the attention of a tall-dark-and-handsome Lokoti man.
Flint offers to drive Jessica to Anchorage; which is a four hour drive, wanting to make sure she gets there safe. After all, her "boyfriend" doesn't seem to be taking care of her and he's been drinking. But once at her hotel room neither one of them can control the passion that is flowing between them. In the morning she leaves before he awakes and heads home to Seattle.
Once home and settled, she finds that she just can not get the handsome Lokoti, Flint Riverclaw, out of her head and is surprised when he shows up on her doorstep. Flint has some surprising news for Jessica. Not only does she find out that Flint is a Werewolf, but that she is now his mate and is carrying his child.
Claimed was well written and flowed nicely. No, it is not a perfect story, but it IS good. A nice one day story that will leave you with a smile.

I got this as a free download to my Kindle and for a free download it was not to bad.... I rather enjoyed the book and the story line. I love books about werewolves so I thought I would download it and start reading it. Now I didn't realize it was a Novella at first until I started wondering why things were moving way to fast for a novel then I got to looking and it was a Novella. That was my fault for not fulling getting all the information before reading it. But for a Novella it sure was pretty enjoyable for me.
The main characters Jessica Tandy and Flint Riverclaw were easy to fall in love with. Flint Riverclaw was the ideal protect the woman to the death type of guy, which I love and Jessica was a city girl who was clearly not the outdoors type. The author did a wonderful job describing all the characters in the novella so the reader could get a good feel for them and get to know them in a short time. Things in this novella did more a little quick for me but for the most part the author did a wonderful job.
This novella is an adult romance and I would not recommend it to a young teen because of it's sexual content. It does have a couple of love making scenes in the book but the author does a wonderful job with that part of the story as well. It isn't to heavy and explicit but still adult content and very well done.
I really don't like the cover to this book I felt they could of done so much more for it. I am one that covers really catch my eye and I didn't check this one out before downloading. But I guess that is why you don't judge a book by its cover because I did enjoy the novella just wasn't rocking the cover.

Jessica has had a bad week, she's been cold, hungry, and without shower and her diabetes doesn't approve, so when her boyfriend and their couple friend stop at Alma for food things slip away from her control.
Luckily one of the locals, Flint, helps her gather her composure and he joins her to eat as her soon-to-be-ex boyfriend drinks with his friends. They strike a little friendship but as her boyfriend sees what’s going on things escalate as she is soon sans boyfriend and ride to Anchorage. Stranded in a small bar in small Alaskan town she accepts a ride to Anchorage from Flint, the Native American man who has more going for him than just tall, dark good looks.
During the ride feelings develop and they end up spending a night together... (read really steamy sex) but it doesn't end there, as Flint isn't all he seems to be, and perhaps one night stand turned out to change the career girl's rest of her life.
I enjoyed this novella, the writing was warm, and you could feel the kindness of both of the characters, from the beginning Jessica is as easy interesting person to travel with. Where many books and novellas take the joined through danger route, this one was lovely love story that just made me feel Good. :)
This one is a feel good little love story that is entertaining, grabbing and you feel good with the characters and how their lives entwine and merge.

Unfortunately I didn't think much of this very short novella. This is like a 1-1.75star read. This was like an accident I couldn't look away from.
Jessica Tandy (yes- that should have been my first clue) has just been through one of the worst weeks of her life after camping with her jerk of a boyfriend Steve and a couple of his friends when the four of them stop at a bar in Alma, Alaska. Jessica has had enough of Steve's boorish behavior and decides to order dinner at the bar instead of their table where she meets Flint Riverclaw. After a unexpected night in Flint's arms, Jessica decides to treat it as a one-night stand and return to her life in Seattle - but Flint has other plans.
This was bad on so many levels, the writing was choppy and the characterization uneven. Huge sections were either overly explained or not explained at all. The ending was jaw-dropping - it seemed to have come out of another book. That suspicion wasn't far off as you find later (in the author' info) that this was memories and part of a more complete work. I would not be interested in reading it as their did not seem to be an editor to catch the typos, inconsistency of character or the choppiness of dialogue and scenes here.

This novella was so awfully written I couldn't even finish it. I'm glad I didn't spend any money on it.
The characterization was flat and stale and full of stereotype crutches. The main character is suppose to be this savvy buisnesswoman in a PR firm. Any successful businesswoman, especially one that deals with difficult clients, would know how to stand up for herself. Not this case for poor, diabetic Jess who let's her orge of a boyfriend treat her like shit. It takes a complete stranger interfering for her to finally stand up for herself.
Not to mention, who gets drunk off a pitcher of Bud? Especially when the characters are portrayed as heavy drinkers and the pitcher is split between three people. All the heavy drinkers I know (and being in the military I know plenty of them) wouldn't even be buzzed by a pitcher. Maybe three pitchers and some shots...but not a pitcher split three ways. That, more than anything else, told me how unrealistic and unbelievable the characters were going to be. If the characters couldn't seem real and engage me than there was no way I could ever enjoy the plot.
I would suggest that the writer refine her writing style and take a few creative writing courses.

This was a good story. It was not a great story. It was worth the read on the beach. It was a little rushed and a little forced at times. It starts off with a city girl returning from a horrendous camping trip with a total jerk and meeting a tall dark stranger who was exceptionally sweet and kind to her. They get together and have a great night then she leaves in the morning to go back to her real life. Then a few days later tall dark stranger shows up and tells her she is carrying his werewolf baby. Although she is not exactly happy about this she accepts it a little too easy for the city girl she is. I think the story needed a little more substance in this area. I realize it it is just a flashback from a longer story so I can get past it. The ending went a little fast but it was good wrap up. I am glad that the writer explained it is just a flashback. That helped it for me.

The biggest problem was he did not seem to care about her diabetes. As her numbers were off course so was her attitude. When they stopped in the small town of Alma and went into Charlie's Bar, it all came to a head. Jess just wanted to get to Anchorage and a real hotel, bed and shower. Steve and the others wanted to drink. She was rescued from her almost diabetic shock by a handsome Alaskan native, Flint Riverclaw.

I sort of have mixed feelings on this one. While I was reading it I enjoyed the ride, but found myself distracted by word usage. It was clear the author did not speak American English. I do not find this a problem when books take place elsewhere or when a character is from elsewhere, but it just felt off in spots since this book took place entirely on America. I did enjoy the story. It had some really interesting lore. I found a couple of spots sad, which means I did connect with the characters. No one feels sad for characters they do not connect with. As a novella, it did alright. I think in some ways it needed more. I am almost wondering if it is a prequel to one of their other novels. I will probably read more from this author at some point, but am not racing out to buy their entire library today. See, I am a wishy washy mess on this one hehehe.

This novella started out well and got cheesier as it went on. But it was a free read and I was looking for a short paranormal novella to fill 2 hours reading time, so it served it's purpose. This was suppose to be a love story but I just didn't buy it cause it felt so rushed. The craziest part was when the heroine had sex with the werewolf while he was still in man beast form with claws and fangs. Didn't see that coming. Talk about Freaky Deeky!
This author needs a really good editor and a little more character development and this would be a much better finished product. Cause the basic story was pretty good.

Story description looked good and it was free. I should have known when I saw females name was Jessica Tandy. Rest of book I can only think of the Fried Green Tomatoes movie. She was Very hard to like. Then when she introduces herself to him she tells him how much money she makes. Asks about his profession and then wants to know how much money he makes per year. Really??!! Okay, skip ahead to the bow chick a bow wow scene...He sniffs her, get that. But then she tells him she hasn't showered for 5 days.... I get she was camping but really??? So she tells him no shower for 5 days and asks him if he would like her to clean up...I will leave it at that.

Love this short story.
I loved it because :
- the good guy is overprotective of the heroin
- there is a "bad" guy (not really bad, but stupid)
- there is sex, and the good guy have sex with the heroin in a half shifted form (love that ... enjoy that ... )
- they stay together till the end of their life.
Why only 4 stars ... because the werewolf can live 200 years and not the girl ... I would have prefer not knowing, or that the girl live the same amount of time after mating with the wolf !
