Welcome to my very curious, ridiculous, unrealistic, hilarious, pathetic, uncensored, and shameless human experience of the dating world!
Meet me, Courtney Schellin, or as everyone else knows me @CourtDoesSports. AKA sports obsessed, loves a good glass of wine, and has never been accused of being quiet. I’m a born and raised Orange County, California girl, turned SMU sorority girl, turned ESPN sports writer. And apparently, my love of fish flops, cheap beer, taxidermy, anything red, white, and blue, and shooting skeet seems to surprise some.
Now, I find myself in my first year of grad school at Emerson College in the big city of Boston and smack dab in the middle of a pandemic. Fresh out of lockdown and single and ready to mingle, I decided there’s no better way to acquaint myself with Beantown than by trying out the online dating field.
Prepare to get up close and personal and journey with me down memory lane... The ghosts of Courtney’s past, one might say. From the worst first dates of all time to past relationships (the good, the bad and the very ugly), and of course to the steamy one night stands, this piece is going to take you through years of my dating life and, quite literally, across the country through all the states I’ve lived in.

Courtney is unapologetic in laying her dating life out on the table. This book is hilariously funny, extremely raw and, at times, very maddening. It's a wild ride of dating life today! You will find yourself saying, "just one more chapter"! Do yourself a favor and start it....
