I wanted to read this book and see why so many people seem to hate it and why so many seem to love it.

I can see, very clearly, why some people hate it. The characters are pretty awful and selfish people. Despite that though, it's a very lovely and beautiful story of all these people falling in love, dealing with hate, pain and loss in their different ways.

I'm glad I read it and I really enjoyed it.

This was a good way to understand the story without reading the whole book. I strangely enjoyed reading it but I cannot say that I enjoyed the story really. None of the characters are likeable, particularly Heathcliff. I’m unsure quite how this has become to be known as such a great love story when he is such a horrible person. His
“love” is possessive and destructive and that isn’t true love in my book. May continue with the audio now of the full story.

A familier story about passion, hatered, revange and love. So many emotions can not disappoint anyone...I think, that Heathcliff and Catherine were not cruel monsters, I think, they were only very unhappy...

It's more three and a half stars. I really.love the story but sometimes it was just weird. I can't describe it, but I love it. I feel like I can't say much about the book because I've read it retold, not the official book. But it's great.
