Chapters on basic beading (starting and finishing, supply needs, etc.) and fringe work. The book was designed to be used as a textbook in beaded jewelry classes and has been very popular for that purpose. Instructions are broken down into simple steps with clear graphics for each step. This morning I was looking for insturctions to do herringbone beading stich and I read Guide to Beading by Desireé Vinsón. It didn't have the stich I was looking for but it did have instructions for round peyote stitch and I used it to start the chain with beads for the neckless that I am working on. It worked just as good as my first idea and I am very happy with the results for my project.

Guide to Beading is an excellent guide to learn new stiches with wonderful graphics to follow and very good written instructionss too. It is a great reference for a new beader or someone like me for a review after years of not doing a stich (great to review). I am planning another project with dasiy chain for a bracelet next.
