Great read!!

Hard to put down once started. Laura has a beautiful way with words that left me really seeing the characters, feeling their feelings.

Ending was different than I expected. Oh so much better!

Can't wait to read the next in the series!

Interesting small-town Southern setting, interesting characters, and mysteries for the Sheriff to solve. Nice wholesome, Christian fiction but author is perhaps a bit too much on the side of minimizing the whole illegal invasion of our border.
