Found in a used book sale and I'm not entirely sure what I just read. A seemingly dull British woman called Mo goes on a road trip across the USA to forget her gay ex-husband. She is joined by a dominatix called Ruby Rose but over their journey threads unravel to reveal her as a woman called Billie with a traumatic childhood. The whole thing is narrated unreliably by Mo and through Billie's diary entries. Not really my thing.
