Overall a pretty good summary about the life of Chiang Kai-shek. One of the most influential Chinese characters of the last few centuries. Obviously this book is old, written only around a year after Chiang’s passing and thus it is bound to have some errors and it isn’t the most complete of narratives.
Still however I think this book offers a nice glimpse into the life of the man who lost China.
